I went In seeking comfortable shoes.Faith was in the shoe department and thoroughly explained the shoes types and differences.Very thankful for that, because after all of these years I've been buying the wrong ones. After explaining to her what I do she recommended a pair I may have never tried on which I ended up purchasing.Highly recommend ASICS and greatly appreciate Faith's patience with me, and her in depth explanation on shoes I had looked at.

Clothing section is a bit disorganized and depleted, all the proper sizes of items are non existent (guess it may be due to the post Christmas rush).Otherwise it's got the general gist of what sporting items one may require.

TLDR, Do not buy a bike from this place , someone could be seriously hurt.Spruce Grove Sport ChekSo, got a bike in late September for my bday from the kids.I don't know alot about bikes but the pictures show how I got it and this year when I went to ride it again. It sat dormant for the winter , and went to ride it this year and the handle bars are no longer attached. I see now that it was assembled so wrong and the tension must have given way.Seriously ridden 5 times.No longer have a receipt. Have pictures of how i bought it, and how it is now.Check out the headset assembly !!! Almost looks like it was glued in backwards I'm surprised that sport Chek is a grade below Canadian tire on bike purchases. Don't even know if this is fixable. So upset

Anytime I can avoid this location, I will. The product selection is OK but the size inclusion is not. In addition to this, I always have a difficult time finding someone to help me and have even had a few occasions where a floor staff member looked at me, then turned and walked away before I could ask for help. It took me 20 minutes to get a changing room open the last time I went. The only reason I didn't give 1 star is because of the cashier last time I went. She was lovely and she was the one to find someone to help me with the changing room.

A very clean store but limited staff and products. I was in there for 30 mins and not one person acknowledged me so customer service could have been much better. Watch your step going into this store as the concrete out front has been a tripping hazard for years and still has yet to be fixed. In fact most of the stores on this plaza have this safety issue. If you have limited mobility or less you may want to go somewhere that will consider your health and safety as this place clearly doesn’t care.

I'm not proud to admit it but I wasn't the nicest at the checkout. But then I was easily proven how wrong I was (I shouldn't assume most cashiers can't do math from previous experiences at other stores).BUT THOSE GIRLS WERE SOO NICE TO ME and Ashley (who was processing my bill) just went with what I said! I started apologizing profusely for being rude and we all had a good laugh in the end. LolI was debating whether or not I over paid for the coat but the coat is of great quality AND the experience was amazing overall - well worth the money and time spent.

I had a GT Avalanche Elite mountain bike built at the Spruce Groove location as the only one they had was still in box. Note this was the first visit, understandable the store needs time to build it.Second visit to pick up the bike the one of the hydraulic brakes was mushy and didn't really grab onto the rotor. The technician was more inconvenienced that I asked for it be fixed and explained that they'd have to bleed the lines and it would take another business day. Told me I wouldn't want my brakes that touchy". It's worth noting that I had a nearly identical GT bike two years ago so I know how it's supposed to work.Third visit

I absolutely love this location. Since moving to Spruce Grove, my family and I have shopped here a handful of times and each time we have been impressed. Staff are always available and helpful. They quickly grab sizes and assist with trying on shoes or skates. They took the time to help me find a new bicycle and helmet for my son, and have also adjusted it on the spot as needed. I know I’m going to get great service each time I go in, so I’ll keep coming back!
