I recently had a fantastic experience with National car rental. From start to finish, their service was exceptional. The staff was friendly and professional, making the reservation process smooth and hassle-free. The vehicle I rented was in excellent condition, clean, and well-maintained

I have to say the Calgary Airport National team were great. Quick, personable and professional, such a pleasant change from the usual car rental experience elsewhere. The vehicle options available at a highly competitive price, made the trip.

I have booked on three occasions vehicles from National at the YYC Airport location. Every single time I have been extremely satisfied with the vehicle rental process from beginning to end.My most recent experience with National at YYC Airport was last week... at that time options were limited everywhere due to the Holiday Season high demand - however, their management team + Sheryar, Moiz, Manjot, and Gurmit went above and beyond to make possible I got the vehicle I needed for my family vacation! So, big shout out to them and big thanks to Brian and Khan for providing such amazing customer service at the time I picked up the rental vehicle. In my experience, with National you get the best bang for your buck.

Very disappointed in my experience with National Car Rental this past September. First time visiting the western part of Canada. Wasn’t advised by the clerk of any rental insurance coverage, ended up getting a small chip in the windshield from Alberta’s stone filled highways. Cost me over $500.. will definitely be renting elsewhere in the future at Calgary Airport.

I will surely rent here again when I come back to visit Calgary. I rented a compact car and got a free upgrade. We just waited for 15-20 mins for the car. Service was very good. No upselling of insurance as well. Return of car was smooth and easy.

2days of superb travelling around S Alberta with a great new rental. Best checkin around Canada in decades. Thank you Kelly !!

I would give them 0 stars if possible. I am on a trip from Calgary to Banff then to Glacier national park in Montana. I called prior to the trip to make sure I could pick up a car in Calgary and drop it off in Montana which they said was no problem at all. When I arrived at the counter in Calgary, I was told they did not have any cars available and it was not possible to take a car to the US. They provided no alternative and left us with no way to get from Calgary to Banff.

Was charged ~$2000 USD more for car rental from this location- did not receive any documentation during pick up or drop off and was charged for double the rental duration. Upon drop off, they had the wrong email address and name on file. The location does not pick up when called. Do not rent from here. **EDIT: problem resolved after emailing.

For the sake of future travelers, it would be helpful for the folks at national to inform renters of how bad traffic ticketing really can be in Alberta. Our rental was nice. Workers were helpful. Just make sure you DO NOT SPEED. You will get an email a couple weeks after your wonderful vacation in Banff/Rockies stating that you owe $195, or more to Alberta. No detailed info.

Had a bad experience from the first day, didn’t have any larger cars for my family and the lady was extremely rude that exited with the vehicle, we have traveled all over the world with National and never had poor service like that .Went back the next day and met with a customer service rep Afrim and he went out of the way to find a car that will work for us and made our Canada trip better. That guy deserves a raise for his excellent customer service, thanks again!
