Emery Adult Learning Centre

I've been here so many times! I love this school and recommend it to people over and over. The teachers are so nice and helpful, understanding even. They have wonderful staff. From guidance councillors to secretaries to teachers.. All around great!. Obviously you'll have your few persons who can't crack a smile or run a joke, but I've been in and out of this school for years..even went to Yorkdale adult school instead..thinking it would be better and it wasn't. At Emery is a better choice by far! They care.Still true in 2023

It's a great pleasure to complete my high school degree at Emery Edvance. I experienced and acquired the best learning methodology with thier supportive and experienced staffs. Even though I'm new to the country I found it easy to assimilate their teaching style. With them, I'm able to graduate within 2 terms and get into University of Waterloo with the degree of my choice. I strictly recommend Emery Edvance and ALC institute to anyone planning to further his/her high school degree and move to University/college.

The best adults school I have attended last year and this year too.I will be Missing my favorite English teachers Mrs.Sara Manesh Mr.Mathew Hicks,Mr.Mark Stefenini &Mr.Brian James I really appreciate the knowledge I gain from them.

Mr. Hicks is the best teacher in this school.I totally enjoy his classes, and his great sense of humour.

As an adult high school student, I have had a great experience at my school. The staff and teachers are dedicated to helping us succeed and the curriculum is challenging but also very rewarding. One of the highlights of my school experience has been our principal Andrea, who truly cares about the well-being and success of all students. She is always available to talk and is very approachable, and I can tell that she genuinely wants what's best for us. I am grateful for the positive school environment she has helped create. I would recommend you to register Emery adult learning centre.

My experience at Emery Adult Learning Centre has been wonderful! The teachers and staff are outstanding with their ways of helping others get their lives on track! They offer many courses that have helped me to get where I am now, just 1 credit away from achieving my diploma! They were also very understanding when I had family issues I had to face, they actually helped me, by being there in the guidance office I was able to talk and express my frustrations! As for my learning experience in Writers Craft, I really grew as a writer. I had an injury, and and could not continue to graduate so I will be back to get that credit! I will get that diploma and I will graduate this year! THANKS TO EMERY ADULT LEARNING CENTRE! If you are reading this, you must be considering to apply! Studying in Emery was one of the most wonderful experiences I've ever had. In comparison to other high schools I found Emery a great place to study. Friendly teachers, office staff and classmates. I had my grade 10 classes in other adult school.when I moved to Emery for my grade 11 and 12 I got even better marks unexpectedly. Because in Emery teachers are so supportive. I miss my school :) .Nahid

I believe that emery is the best adult high school in canada.for instants this school offers incredible programs for any level, which you can go through to the colleges, universities, and etc".This is a school performance

I went in today and spoke to Leslie, one of the guidance counsellors, and was very disappointed with her attitude. As someone who’s job it is to “guide” and motive students, she was nothing but negative, discouraging and a little bit condescending. It’s hard enough being an adult and deciding to go back to school full time without having someone that doesn’t know you try to knock you down and make you question your choices. The school is great but she is not. The school should consider giving her a refresher course when it comes to giving students advice.
