My kid lost his orthok during a long weekend. Dr. Liang returned to office on a holiday day to help my son with a temporary contact lens! Really appreciate!

Great service and outstanding value for money! Doctor Liang is very good. She pays attention to details and very understanding. Ordered two pairs of glasses with Hoya lenses. Both progressive. Both fit really well. Happy to recommend Warden optometry to others.

Not recommended. After signing up our daughter for OrthoK( Myopia Control ) contract in June 2021, we were told that the contract includes, first year service and lenses, lens cleaning solution and service for my daughter until 19, with at least 1visits per 3 months. We were told that all we have to pay for was any new lenses. Went over to test her eyes today, and was told that we now have to pay for a new yearly contract. The doctor also said that there there will be additional fees and that goes without saying. We showed her the contract that was agreed upon, and she got defensive. She also said that if we did not agree to the new fees, the contract would be voided. I did not know that a written contract could be voided, if we did not agree to some arbitrary fees that was never explained. She also told us that if the contract is voided, we have to pay $200 per any future exams. We asked to have our daughters annual ohip eye exam done, and she took less than 4 mins, to do the exam. She basically rushed us through the exam, and then left the room to tell her receptionist that if we come back, to charge us for each visits, instead of honoring the contact that covers us until the 19th birthday of our daughter. This was an expensive lesson learned, so we want to pass on experience, onto other peoples, so you don't make the same mistake. Not the best business ethics. Recommendation, go to another optometry for a better service. We learn this the hard way.

Disappointed with the service. New clients beware, learn from my experience.I came here after reading about the amazIng reviews on Google, but was disappointed with the service. The appointment itself last a mere 10 minutes, and it felt very rushed. In the end, she gave me the wrong prescription too... I found this out when I got my new glasses prescribed and one of the lens was blurry. I paid ~$150 to get the wrong prescription...Will not be coming back.Edit: If you're searching for a new optometry clinic and browsing reviews, I suggest paying attention to the dates of the 5-star ratings. Based on recent negative feedback, it seems likely that the quality of service has decreased over time. This establishment appears to lack transparency with patients and may take advantage of those who have limited English proficiency. I would recommend considering Costco optometry instead, as it offers better service and affordability in a larger setting.

I’m writing this review because I just received a reminder text for an upcoming appointment I was pretty much forced to book last year. Read on to see why I cancelled immediately and am only now leaving this review.Worst clinical experience I’ve ever had in my entire life. I, as a healthcare worker in a clinical setting, am absolutely appalled at how these people treat their patients.Whoever was at front desk lacked any sort of respect for their patients and gave me attitude for no reason. I was made to wait 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment time despite the clinic being next to empty. Dr. Liang is definitely one of a kind because she’s probably the rudest clinician I’ve ever met. Spoke to me in a condescending tone which became even more crude the second she found out I couldn’t speak Cantonese. The exam was thorough yet my prescription was entirely off. How does this even make sense? I kept trying to insist that she take another look but she refused. Then she tried to convince me to buy expensive lenses (ones which I didn’t even need, mind you) from her store and went as far as SCOFFING in my face when I refused, telling me “you’ll never find this product anywhere else.” Then when I went up to pay the receptionist insisted that I book a one year follow up despite my refusal. My mistake was giving in because I just received a text for my follow up. Apparently the appointment is tomorrow at 1:20pm. There is a $50 fee if you cancel less than 24hrs in advance. THEY TEXTED ME AT 11:30AM. How is this not a cheap money grab?Anyways, if you’re looking for an optometrist, run far from this place. Anywhere else would be better.

Be prepared for any exam fees they might ask you for even it is supposed to be included in the OHIP. They charged my father without telling him how much the exam is, and they even charge $50 for printing out the result, ridiculous.

Dr. Liang at Warden Optometry is a knowledgeable and experienced optometrist. She passionately cares about her patients' eye health. She gives very thorough examinations and also recommended the best kind of lenses and frames for both adults and kids. She was patient and kind to us. My husband gave a wrong prescription he got from another place and didn't realized the degree was not right after he got his glasses, Dr. Liang helped re-examine his eyes and offered a free lense change for him. The front desk staff was also very nice.

I was referred to Dr. Yan Ling Liang by my local optometrist to work with her on Syntonic Light Therapy. I used to get weekly migraines lasting hours. Since starting therapy I felt an instant reduction in migraine pain and duration, and after adjusting the therapy and working together, the pain is gone. I'm in shock at how fast I felt the change, the quality of my life is greatly improved.I highly recommend trying Syntonic Therapy if it is recommended and Warden Optical as the therapy is non-invasive and no medication is required.Thank you so much for all of your work!

Honest review after 1-year Ortho K service contract. (unfortunately Google does not allow 0 star to be published)On June 4, 2021, we signed Myopia Control Service contract with Warden Optometry for my daughter, which clearly states Myopia Control Program Includes:- First year product and service (visits)- Yearly services, at least one visit per three months, up to the age of 19 years old.- Starter lens cleaning solutions. We paid $2500 ($400 for the Ortho K sphere lenses and $2100 for Ortho K service) upon signing the contract and started the Ortho K program. We were told at that time that for future years we only needed to pay the cost of lenses when new lenses are required due to prescription changes or damages). Now one year has passed, and we visited again this morning. We were told we need to renew the service to continue the myopia control program. She said it's not just for the cost of the lens, additional yearly fees goes without saying. When I took out the paper contract signed from last year and tried to point out what the contract says, she felt very upset and toldus the original contract is voided if we don't pay to renew the service. Wow, a formal written signed contract can be voided arbitrarily by her just like snapping a finger!!!!! And she even charged today's visit to OHIP instead of covering under the service contract which states at least 1 visit per three month till my daughter is 19. So basically we paid $2100 for our first years' 6~7 times visits!!!!!We didn't want to waste any time arguing further with this place with NO honesty, NO professionalism and NO business ethics whatsoever. Just want to share our expensive lesson and hope it can help whoever reads this review make a wise decision.Attached images are taken of the paper contract and invoice from June 4, 2021### I just saw the owner's reply. How ridiculous she can say the contract ends on August 27, 2022 while it's clearly written that she needs to offer at least 1 visit per three month up to my daughter turning 19. Full of lies, false and misleading information!!!! Nothing like yearly renewal was ever mentioned when we were talked into signing the contract back in June 4, 2021 except it did mention there would be cost for new lenses to be ordered. And our appointment today was originally pre-booked for Sept 6th with Dr. Liang herself (rescheduled to Sept 17th with receptionist) when she was trying to get us pay the yearly renewal on our June 3rd visit. We denied to renew at that time and agreed to have 1 more check to see how my daughter's vision progress. My daughter is very sure that her current lens works very well and does not need new lenses. More than $2000 dollars have already been paid for Dr. Liang herself spending less than 5-10 mins checking my daughter's eyes each time during our one-year 6~7 visits, that's an undebatable iron solid FACT!!! And she still expected us to continue paying her like an idiot on each short visit?? By the way, today's eye exam under OHIP was a 3-min superficial quick check after she found out I brought contract copy and didn't plan to renew, the exam is not even close to a complete eye exam scope that is covered by OHIP.I should have taken my coworker's trustworthy personal reference instead of reading the fake good google reviews she asked her clients to write ( same as she asked me to write a google review when we just started the program with her in June last year. Luckily I didn't write anything back then before finding out the truth). Anyway my friend's 3 children all went Ortho K with another optometry in Markham, the initial service contract is $700 cheaper than $2500 charged by Warden Optometry, and for new ordered lenses after 1st year is $350 only with no whatsoever yearly renewal fees. I don't think Dr. Liang really want me to publish her competitor optometry information here. Dr. Liang, please do NOT associate your dishonest practice with irrelevant market price in China or else where. You don't follow what the formal written contract states, that's the bottom line.
