Philly Wawa Hoagie
Rarely do I see a restaurant with unanimous 5 star reviews. In Wawa for the first time and stopped at Philly Hoagie for a Philly cheese,made to order(can't stand peppers),soup and baklava...all excellent. The guy running the place, a tall Turk(?), was on top of it. 5 stars across the board from me.

Don’t let the name fool you. The Chicken shawarma is Devine. I would have added a photo but both wraps were inhaled. The samosas were tasty. Deep fried and a little on the tame side compared to the wrap. Passing through, I never thought I’d enjoy great Middle Eastern food in Wawa! Next time I’m in town, I’ll stop here again!!

While visiting from Sudbury for work, I tried the falafels, the chicken shawarma and the poutine.All were great. The falafels are made from scratch, the poutine used real curds and great gravy, and the falafel was perfectly flavorful.The owner is friendly and his passion for food and the restaurant shows. I would like to visit again.

Very friendly owner, authentic homemade middle eastern dishes. Extremely pleased to have such a place while driving through Wawa on a camping trip in the areas of Heron Bay and Lake Superior. While we enjoy the food typically served by chip trucks, it was a treat to have another option with high quality of standards.

Excellent option for travellers, take out or a quick meal. Shawarma plate was delicious and nutritious. Only five minutes off the highway. As a frequent visitor to town this is a very welcome new food option. Traditional Mediterranean plus fries and burgers if that’s what the kids demand.

Amazing amazing lamb shank and chicken shawarma. Really hit the spot after a long drive. Open late too! Owner has nice hair as well.

We made a quick pit stop in Wawa for our long drive from Southern Ontario to Manitoba. This was a great find, very friendly service and a solid meal. Fresh ingredients - would highly recommend.Thanks again friends!Halal, Vegetarian and Vegan options available. The poutine is made with real cheese curds from Quebec but the gravy is vegetarian friendly. This was a great treat.
