Had a student do the injection even though i demanded the dr do it and was reassured the dr would be opperating. Inital needle placement was fine in my spine but then they jabbed it deeper suddenly and it went into my spinal merve, it made me scream take it out

The specialists are overall fine. However, the front desk barely answers calls and doesn't fulfill there duties properly such as putting referrals in when requested by the physician. When i came in for my appointment they were hurdling around chatting and acting like they were not on duty, when clearly there is work to be done. I am assuming they are their just for the $$. I wasted 3 months before my follow up with my specialist (who was irritated to find out nothing was properly sent out or followed up on, when my case was urgent.) On a personal note: I ended up dropping 15 extra pounds unnecessarily because of my illness progressing and my symptoms got much much worse. This is people's lives, get it together.

I spent 3 years at the Wasser. Three totally wasted years. They literally did nothing for me. I tried the Botox and they were injecting it into an area that wasn't a problem! Nice way to waste $500.00. It didn't matter what time your appointment was. You were pretty much guaranteed to wait 2 hours after before you actually got in. All the so-called specialists were completely useless. It took my G.P. to figure out what was wrong and treat it.

Dr. Gordon has given me my life back...After suffering with chronic migraines and cluster headaches for over ten years I was referred to the Wasser Pain Clinic. Unfortunately the wait-list was 8 months (according to my doctor and the Wasser website) but I ended up waiting almost a year. It was worth the wait.Upon being seen by Dr. Gordon and his team members I was put on a treatment plan of botox every 12 weeks. Approximately 5 days after my first treatment was the first time I woke up without pain, something that most people take for granted. I couldn't even remember what life was like without pain by then. Tears of joy/relief were streaming down my face.I've been a patient of Doctor Gordon's for a couple of years now and truly believe that I would not be here if it weren't for Wasser Pain Clinic. The only down-side to Wasser is that it is very hard to get a hold of anyone if you need to make/change an appointment. Phone calls are rarely answered and when you leave a message your call is almost never returned. That said, I realize it is a very busy clinic and that they likely receive hundreds of calls/day. Maybe hire more help??

Useless. 3 appointments in 8 months. Have been cancelled on a couple times and ended up waiting a month or two to get the next appointment. Reception doesn't answer the phone you have to leave a message and wait for them to call back. Canadian healthcare is embarrassing and non existent.

Front desk was kind, efficient, and answered all my questions. Very clean and calming wait area. I was seen very promptly. I was seen by Dr. Hojdonckx and Dr. Zheng, both of whom were wonderful. Dr. Zheng patiently and compassionately took down my symptoms and pain history, asked me critical questions, and made me feel heard. I in no way felt rushed. Both doctors took the time, after reviewing my history, to discuss different options; they made sure that I was comfortable and understood the implications of each option, and created a follow-up plan as well. Wait time was a bit long, but this is the case with most medical specialists.

I see so many comments about the wait time and the staff, firstly I would like to say that yes, the wait time to get into the clinic is a long and difficult one, especially if you are in a lot of pain. This is to no fault of the clinic, they get so many referrals and the lack of other clinics that can help the way they help is what is ridiculous.Secondly, I’ve had nothing but compassion, empathy and understanding from the clinic staff. They are patient and kind and do what they can. Leah Pink, has been a huge asset and is excellent at her job, contrary to what someone else said. She returns calls, she takes time to answer my questions and concerns in between appointments. They need more staff, more nurses and that’s to no fault of the clinic.

Ten years ago I filled out the 2 inch thick application, then went to a preliminary mass meeting in a hot room with over 100 people, then to an almost retired drug and alcohol counselor" then I waited one year to see Dr. Gordon. All he offered was Botox and wanted almost $500

Visiting the Wasser Clinic was nothing even remotely close to what I was told it would be. Reception was almost non-existent; door was locked, I had no idea if I was in the right place, finally someone opened the door and I was told to take a seat. With my pain level, the five hour car ride from northern Ontario was not easy, not to mention the $300 hotel room that I had to get. The lead case doctor didn't even show up to the appointment. The doctor that was there was unprepared, he wouldn't listen to what I had to say, he interrupted and would cut me off frequently.I've had spinal cord stimulator surgery, lumbar puncture along with many other procedures and drugs that have not provided any relief for me. The doctor at Wasser suggested over the counter pills and said I should be fine. He down-graded my pain and said that of course if he poked me with a pen over and over again, it would hurt. There was a student present who seemed quite interested but was neglected by the doctor. He didn't offer her the pictures I brought for him to see or included her in any discussion. I certainly don't think he should be training a young and up-coming doctor. After he had again rudely interrupted me toward the 20 minute mark, he told me my time was up.My case has stumped countless doctors since 2012 to today. This doctor showed no interest or compassion. I left feeling completely unheard and abandoned.
