Tip Top Taxi

I have taken three tip top taxis this past week and twice had a driver with no mask on. We’re in an enclosed space with ZERO ventilation and no real space between us. The mask mandate is province-wide and does in fact include cabs (I checked with the health unit to be 100% sure) and I should be able to buy a safe ride. My business will be going elsewhere.

The driver was not sociable and was very rude when we were dropped off after we told him about his behaviour. Profanity was exchanged at 2am. NEVER AGAIN. Our friends already know

I like tip top taxi, the woman who answers the phone is wonderful and happy sounding. my only complaint was the vehicle I was in today had fire damage on the plastic divider. I called to inform the lady who sent me the cab. I hope they find him a replacement plastic.

It’s unfortunate the cab drivers get away with running red lights, almost hitting other vehicles, while the dispatcher/managers do nothing about their drivers. Someday someone will get seriously hurt and i hope they are held responsible for the terrible drivers they hire.

I Take many taxis a week. Decided to use a couple different local companies to support both. I called tip top from a grocery store I know it’s not required by them to help load groceries but anytime I’ve called with groceries they always offer to help. This trip I had about 12 bags and a case of water. The driver popped the trunk and watched me load. Said there should be plenty of room. Arrived at home fare was 6.70 I gave 10. He again asked if I need help I said sure if you don’t mind just put them on the porch I’ll bring them in. He stayed in the car while I did 2 loads he comes out I had 2 bags and case of water left I grabbed the bags and tried grabbing the case of water but it kept coming apart. I said I’ll have to come back for that. His comment they don’t make things like they use too and left it there for me to come back and get. Needless to say I’ll go back to using the the other company from here forward. I take 10 or 12 cabs a week.

Told it was going to be a 4 hour wait and then immediately hung up the phone. Was left stranded in -25°c weather.

Great service. Answer the phone within a couple rings, quick and efficient but not rude. Drivers take between 5-15 minutes to get to us depending on how busy or how far away they are. Usually very friendly people. Fair price. Had a driver just today turn off the meter and just take what I had in cash to get me and my son home after a bad day. I never call anyone else.

Usually show up within minutes, cab drivers have all been friendly and usually don't charge for the trunk, they get you to your destination fast so cheaper. I usually tip the driver especially if they don't slow poke for extra.

Got into the vehicle and it was incredibly filthy. The seats were dirty, it smelt musky and just down right awful which I suspect is from all the stains all over the place.The driver I believe got lost because he did a loop around streets. He then decided to cut through east end strip mall parking lot which ended up taking longer because it was so busy.Then he turned up a street too early and back peddled.For some insight I was by Easton and was only going to the hospital.It cost me $13.60 for a cab ride. That’s absolutely insane.Will definitely be using a different taxi service moving forward.
