I love Cliffside. Despite its grungy exterior, it is quite cozy inside (and has a lovely patio when the weather is nice).This pub takes a no-nonsense approach by offering a nice variety of flavourful beers (brewed on site) as well as a small selection of tasty chicken wings and other snacks.I highly recommend Cliffside for all times of day and night, whether you just want to grab a beer by yourself, meet up with friends, or bring a date!

Great selection of beers even the lemonade one, I heard, not so much the Scope mint flavor Gose. I really enjoyed all 4 beers IPA's and Ales I tried were super, highly recommend.

Great beers and excellent wings! Amazing service by the one dude just solo running the place. There’s something about the chill vibe in the back alley that makes it a great place to just hang.

Best beer in Nanaimo. The Cosmic session is my fave -- super crisp with a little bit of malt. Their main bar keep with the big beard is super nice and knows his beer.I'm super sad they're closing down. They have the absolute best beer and brewer.
