I sent my 10 year old to get her hair done by Jules as she was recommended to me by a friend. She was supposed to have blonde ombre/baylage on her never before colour treated hair and 2hrs after I left my daughter in Jules hands and picked her up... my daughter came out looking the same. I questioned Jules and she said that she said herself she thought it would be lighter and then told me to give it 2 weeks as the toner will fade and it should become lighter. I was hesitant but Jules said if I am still not happy she would redo it.My daughter was practically in tears as she was so excited and she couldnt tell a difference. Everyone said the same thing, her hair was still ash brown no colour change at all. I waited 2 weeks and texted Jules and she said okay i can get her in a month from now. A month? u charged me $150 bucks for nothing and you want my daughter to wait a month and 2 weeks for you to fix it? Um wow. So i contacted he owner and she was said she would fix this for me. I called no response or callback and she then ignored my message on fb messenger. Some owner. Stole from me and lost a lot of clients as i tell everyone I know to steer clear from them. I worked and have connection with a Windsor Beauty Supply store and have told them about this as well. Horrible customer service, I wish I didn't pay, and since this happened the August 2017. There is not much I can do now. I normally would have stopped to know avail to get a refund but I had just had a baby and was caring for a newborn. After multiple calls and msging I just gave up. Normally not like me. Pathetic excuse for stylists. DO NOT GET UR HAIR DONE HERE.

I am so happy that I found this place. The people, especially Heather, are so knowledgeable and willing to work not only with you but with each other. What a great team spirit I see. I used to dread the 2 hours it took to colour my hair. Now it is like going to see old friends. It is relaxing and I feel great every single time I leave the salon. It is the best treat to myself!

This was the most terrible expierence of my life ,didn’t get the friendly vibe,from. Monika. Still in shock with this eighty dollar hair cut.Cut didn’t style it like your good to go. My fault for saying was nice so stunned. Could not think of a word to say.I didn’t see all these other bad reviews. But a lesson learned for me

I have been a dedicated customer under Monika Lombardi for the past year, but unfortunately after my last visit, I will no longer book any more appointments. The previous three visits went smoothly, and I was always satisfied with my results. The service was great and the employee's were very friendly. My fourth visit took whopping four hours to have the top portion of my hair bleached, and the bottom portion was completely disregarded. Three times I was sent to the sink to have my hair rinsed of chemicals that I had no idea about - the third time because she put the wrong toner level on my hair. My scalp was burning by the end of it; but having trusted her in the past, I continued to sit in the chair to see the finished result. Clearly losing patience due to the busy environment, the hairstylist called over her apprentice to blow dry my hair alongside her. At this point, there were two blow dryers and round combs working on my brittle hair. The lack of gentleness after processing hair was not there. I was overwhelmed at the hideous result after she was done styling, not even proceeding to show me the back of my head. She charged me $170 for damaged and ugly hair, and two overrated products. Not only do I have my brothers wedding in the next few weeks, but now I have a head of hair that will remind me of the terrible visit. I would not recommend letting these employees take advantage of you. Know your limits and learn from my experience! Thankfully she refunded my money but refused to take any criticism. I was never disappointed with the staff and service at the Moni hair boutique. They work very hard separately and together to give you the best experience they can. The salon is very clean and looks amazing especially after the renovations.

Worst experience of my life! I have never ever ever seen someone run their business in this manner. I went in, and Olivia (Liv) attempted to dye my hair. I went in with blonde hair and asked for my hair to be caramel. I came out with orange roots and the rest of my hair was white, brown, and blonde. I was SHOCKED. My foils bled, it was so unprofessionally done, and they used the wrong toner. If the person that dyed my hair was unable to perform such task, she should not have tried. It gets worse...the owner Moni came to see my hair and acted like the whole thing was my fault and there was something wrong with my eyes and how I saw the colour. They were extremely rude and did not even apologize to me, even though I was crying and shocked with my hair colour. Moni said to come back for her to fix my hair which she never did. I had to pay over $500 to colour correct the horrible job they did at a different salon. I never usually write reviews, but this was the worst experience I have ever had, and to top it all off, they were so unapologetic and didn't even care how upset I was with my hair. Extremely rude and treated me so poorly. Please see the picture attached to this review to judge it for yourself.

Nicole is really great. I had to find a new stylist as mine went on maternity leave. Nicole listens to her clients and suggests options if they are unsure. She also is good at making suggestions based on the clients face shape and coloring. Highly recommended.
