Lakeridge Heights Retirement Residence

This place is absolutely horrible. So much is wrong.Recreational activities are shared with memory care residents. Fine if you like to be surrounded by people in vegetative state. No fault of theirs, just brutal for others.Ff

This place looks absolutely awesome! So many amenities and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I encourage everyone to check it out!

My darling mom moved in almost 11 days ago, at 89 she was transitioning for the first time from independent living. We have experienced nothing but the best of support from the staff and administrators. I am so pleased my Mom is living at Lakeridge,and thankful she has help, for all of her needs.

My late mother was a resident during the worst of Covid. She received acceptable care during her stay. We were never denied access to visit her and I very much appreciated this. However since my mother passed away and we cleared her room, the accounting has been terrible. I was told we had to retain her room for 30 days and pay accordingly. Her account has not been adjusted correctly and I have been trying to clear this up for six month and I have been given the run around and no answers or even my calls returned. At nearly $6,000. a month I expect better.

My parents and I just had the opportunity to visit the presentation centre for Lakeridge Heights Retirement Residence. What can I say, but WOW!!!This new retirement community looks so beautiful and classy; definitely a cut a above. We got a chance to tour their show suite… they actually have a full on suite in the presentation centre… never would have thought. Anyway back to the show suite… it was massive. I couldn’t believe how spacious it was, and quality of the craftmanship and the high-end finishes were absolutely stunning. In all of the places we have toured in the area (too many to count), no one has suites this big and that are finished this beautifully. In-suite washer/dryer, balcony, granite countertops, hardwood floors… this is not your everyday retirement home, this is a resort. They even have stainless steel appliances in the apartments… that’s it, my parents were sold, they’re moving in.But wait, we hadn’t seen or heard it all. They started telling us about the amenities that everyone living there can use… pool, fitness studio, theatre, hair salon, bar & bistro, underground parking and many more. Now I want to move in. Without a doubt, this place has it all... as I said it’s like a resort.I can’t wait until I’m old enough to move in. Until then, I’ll be visiting every week.

WOW! Went for a tour at the show room at the Whitby Mall. Have been looking for a home for my mother to live and after visiting my expectations for retirement living have been surpassed. In the show room there is a model suite. The rooms are beautiful and very spacious. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about what was best for my mom.I would definitely recommend- worth seeing.

this particular facility is very obscure and hideous in their hiring process and i warn all job seekers to be very alert

This is a beautiful retirement community with great amenities and various levels of care. Even more impressive is the warm and welcoming environment and the kind management and staff!

The food most days is very disappointing. The home is beautiful but we were promised built in cupboards in the room but instead found a tiny, tiny cupboard stuck in the corner of a very tiny room. Bathroom could fit 4 or 5 wheelchairs so a lot of wasted space, poor design. Most staff are awesome and work very hard to please.
