Hot Star Large Fried Chicken Montreal
Really tasty fried chicken, juicy on the inside and really crispy on the outside. The chicken pieces are HUGE. They make it to order so you have to wait generally about 10-15minutes for the dish to be ready.In my opinion, the seasoning on the chicken was a bit strong (way too salty) and it would have gone great with a side of fresh veggies or a refreshing salad. However, all the side dishes that are offered are also fried stuff, a little on the heavy side.Nevertheless, if you are craving good fried chicken give this place a shot.

Both the food and drinks were amazing l. The spring rolls were good and cheap and the fries were like Costco fries. The chicken took a bit of time to be ready but it was well worth it. The drinks were also amazing.

Got charged with no food delivered!!! Ordered with Ubereats, time for order was said to be 1 hour but after placing the order it jumped to 1 hour 45 minutes. Canceled my order less than a minute after it was placed, called the restaurant to make sure, they said the order is not canceled and that the food will be delivered. After kids are waiting for dinner for more than an hour, I call again to learn they did cancel the order 15 minutes later, did not inform me and charged me fully.Uber of course will not refund me since the restaurant claims they started to make the food before I canceled, which is a clear lie as it does not take a 2 minutes from order to food prep.What a theft!

Expensive, not quality, not worth it. I got the Korean and Spicy fried chicken. I ordered and they charged me for cheese chicken and was so disappointed that I got the wrong order that I called and they didn't do anything. It's very oily and after 6 hours, I still have the after taste and have a stomach ache/headache. I would recommend Mon Ami instead.

Very good and crispy fried chicken. I ordered original, spicy. If you plan to visit at lunch, you have to wait to have a seat because dining room is a little small.

This well known Asian Chicken franchise set up this shop downtown Montreal. The specialty is a chicken cutlet deep fried and flavorful. From spicy to Korean to BBQ flavor. Even a popular cheese filled one is available. Very juicy and crispy. Their sides are deep fried oyster mushrooms, sweet potatoes, and corn on the cob. They have a variety of specialty drinks as well as canned pop. Their standard white, blue trademark decor with bar stools and tables. Seats about 20. Service is friendly but remember that everything is cooked fresh by order be so expect to wait 10 - 15 minutes. Metered parking.

The large fried chicken is worth going to get. We got it with spicy powder. Portion size is pretty good and it definitely satisfies the crispy requirement.I wouldn’t get the wings again though bc it just didn’t feel like I got my moneys worth.The fries are surprisingly really good too.

My favorite place to go when I’m craving for fried chicken!!! Love their seaweed flavored original fried chicken. Salt and pepper ones taste amazing too!! The chicken is always fresh, hot, and juicy. But I’d say that it’s slightly overpriced, if they could lower down the price for 1-2$ it would be more reasonable.

I got the original large fried chicken and the corn. The corn was delicious, the chicken was fresh and tasty (note: it had bones at the bottom). Also, the spicy" option is just lots of paprika so don't expect it to be spicy.The place is quite small
