Rodney’s Oyster House
Rodney's continues to reign supreme in the oyster world, but lately I've come to appreciate their other offerings more. Went there recently for dinner and I have to say, the Smoker's Platter for 2 is some of the best smoked fish I've had in the city, and the onion rings are amazingly sweet and easily the best in the city.Service is friendly and efficient, place has a casual energy to it. While prices are high, they're worth it if you like quality seafood without a lot of bells and whistles where the quality is made to shine. Long live Rodney's!

The food & service was good here. The only problem I had was that they didn't shuckle the oysters properly. There were pieces of broken shells on the oysters. I had to constantly get the pieces out of my mouth. I never had a problem anywhere else. Otherwise, the food was good.

Had a great experience here for my boyfriend and his friend’s birthday! It was very easy to communicate with the manager Julius and the wait staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! We had 3 different oyster varieties with many different toppings! Our mains were also delectable: the favourites were the lobster rolls and the crab cakes. Birthday cakes were also brought out to celebrate my boyfriend and his friend. Although this was a pricey meal, it is worth the splurge for a night of celebration.

and while the food was quite good, there were a few things that left me with mixed feelings. First off, the price point was somewhat high, and I didn't feel like the furnishing and atmosphere of the restaurant reflected the price.That being said, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure we had a great dining experience, and they were happy to answer any questions we had about the menu or the ingredients.As for the food, it was undeniably delicious. The seafood was fresh and expertly prepared, and the flavors were unique and well-balanced. While the price point was somewhat high, I felt like the quality of the food justified the cost.Overall, while I had mixed feelings about this seafood restaurant, I would still recommend it to others. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was undeniably delicious. If you're willing to pay a somewhat high price for quality seafood, this place is worth checking out. Just don't expect the atmosphere or furnishings to reflect the price point.

Rodney’s Oyster House
6 days in Toronto and this was our finale, but also our BEST experience! We were welcomed by the entire staff with open arms. It was a relaxed vibe and the food was top notch! We had oysters, tuna tartare, calamari, scallops and fries. Memories were made here and I can’t wait to come back! Save me a seat at the bar friends!

You always need to book an appointment here and even if you do you will need to wait a bit depending on the day or time. Overall experience is really good. We had oysters which were really high quality. The scallops are really the best Main dish you can order here IMO. The Wine was great white wine from California I think. We had two waiters who were very helpful.

Went here for lunch with the family. We had an amazing experience here. The food was really delicious. The mussels were probably the best I've had in the last decade. I loved my double salmon burger. The kids also loved the fish and chips. This place definitely gets a big recommendation from me.

Five Star Sea Food Restaurant in Toronto. Definitely a must visit place if you love Seafood, especially if you like Lobsters and Oyster. The taste is out of the world, premium service. The price is on the higher side but worth the money for the quality and taste of the food.

Very nice seafood restaurant on King Street West. The ambience was warm but a bit dim. The garden was nice. The oyster choice was amazing and we were informed they are always fresh. The specials of the day was also interesting. Our server Anton was very knowledgeable and friendly. He took time to explain the menu in detail and made recommendations. If you are fond of seafood, definitely recommend this place. The only suggestion to the restaurant is to make some change to the complimentary bread and butter served at the beginning. The butter is very cold and the bread does not taste too good.
