Fond du Lac Humane Society

The Fond du Lac Humane Society steps it up compared to other Humane Societies. They go the extra mile to make sure that each adopting family is right choice for the specific animal that is to be adopted. Although in my personal experience, the person who answers the phone is not the friendliest, but the other staff members are top-notch. We had a very good experience adopting 2 fur family members.

Creating a bunch of unnecessary drama. Cancelling contracts with cities just overall bad business practices as of recently. Time to get this humane society back to what it used to be about the darn pets. Grow up people.

If I could give them zero I would. Their board only cares about the money and not the pets. Listen to the people on social media bashing this organization. There's a lot of truth being told. Animals have died on your hands. What a disgrace to the community.

They were very helpful in getting the cat I had gotten from me sister records and chip number transferred into my name!Information I needed to get him into the vet!

These people steel pets to get money. My dogs have been picked up by people a dozen or more times and I've paid them$800 for a mutt I had bought from them and now they have my pure bred husky. I have some choice words for the people of their facility and they're all bad.

The staff is so wonderful and knowledgeable! They helped me and my boyfriend pick out our first cat, and were so kind the whole process! We love our kitty so much!

Very disappointed! We have put our adoption application in on the 4th of November & was approved weeks ago! Been still waiting on seeing the dog we are interested in! No calls back or anything! they are supposed to help dogs find homes their forever homes! Not keep them there for long periods of time! My husband & I have decided to go another route and adopt a puppy from somewhere else! Husband & I do not recommend adopting from here.

Nice helpful and caring people. The help they provide to the animals and people is so wonderful. We truly believe in animal adoptions.

Wanted to meet someone, was not possible. An employee, Grace I think, was very pleasant to talk to and informative

Wanted to adopt an elderly cat after we lost our rescue (We are retired). Filled out the application and the same day they talked to one of our references and call us that we were approved. I was honest in saying that we had a ten-year-old 20lb mix that I adopted eight years earlier. We got there, and the lady I talked to said that we couldn't adopt because we had a dog. But she knew that when she read my application. We met the cat and fell in love with her before given the news. I was crushed. Only one other elderly cat was available to me when I talked to her over the phone, but that one wasn't recommended with dogs either. Get your ducks in a row people! She did say that she would talk to her cat man on Monday, but she took all the wind out of my sail.It's been a month and Lola is still residing at the building. At her age, she'll probably die there. It breaks my heart because I know she would get a good home with myself and my husband, but your concern over my 20lb overweight twelve-year-old dog adopted from the Humane society was too much for you to overcome. Knowing about my dog and calling my references and telling me I qualified and having me come in and get acquainted with her, you denied me. So sad.
