Purchased a 2013 Subaru Forester from Wally. Great guy to deal with and very happy with my purchase!!

I was very surprised with the welcome and service. Wally is a great guy and I'm glad with my purchase.

Bought an 09 Accord from Speedway earlier this year. Had 412,000 kms on it, but was previously owned by a person who obviously took very good care of it. Great exterior, great interior, looked and ran and drove like a car with maybe 150k kms on it. Not over 400k. Wow.Wally the salesman was a pleasure to deal with, Honest, personable, down to Earth fellow. Test drive went well, told me to take 'as long as I want'. (Never heard that from a salesman before!). Sale was clear and transparent, Wally made sure to go through and explain everything regarding paperwork, etc. Sale itself went very quick, start to finish maybe 10-15 mins. Includes safety cert, and carfax (a very detailed one! re: maintenance, etc.). He said any issues, one week, one month, 6 months down the line, doesn't matter, to pls contact him . Phone, text, etc. One or two weeks later, the CEL light went on for O2 sensor related issue. Notified Wally of it, and he took care of it right away, for FREE. (affiliated shop Lube King on St Marys Rd - shout out to Manuel !)

Great Service - a Dealership you can trust! We needed a car when both kids got jobs in different parts of the city and also had University. Wally found us a perfect car for our needs at a great price. After a month, the car was running great but threw an error code and the Speedway team immediately stepped up to figure out what was wrong and took care of it for us. After 6 months of great driving, the car was written off in a major accident. Time to find out if we got a good deal when we first bought it! After settling with MPI, we got our money back which proved Wally got us a good car at a good price. In a panic, Wally was able to find us another great car that met our needs to replace the write-off. We’ve had it now for almost a year and it’s given us great service. Wally and the Speedway gang have found us the right cars at the right price and treated us like family - service you can trust. I’d recommend them to anyone needing a good used car.

I had a very positive experience recently buying a used car from Wally, at Speedway Auto. Here's the thing: I wanted to be careful this time, due to some surprises the last time I bought a used car. So, I kept waiting for a surprise, or the next shoe to drop. But it didn't happen. For any question I asked, he always gave me an honest, straight answer right away. He didn't try and squeeze an extra dollar out of me. In fact, check this out. I actually, unbelievably, had an accident on the way to his dealership. I had to avoid smashing into another car at 60km/h who had pulled a U-Turn in front of me, so I crashed into a snowbank instead. Since I was 3/4 of the way there, I decided to continue on to Speedway Auto Sales at a slower speed, with a flap of my now damaged front bumper dragging on the road a little. I ended up divulging this story to Wally, because I talk a lot and couldn't help it. A more cynical business person might look at this and think, I now have a little more leverage with this buyer, since he MOST DEFINITELY needs a car now! Well, Wally didn't do that. So yeah, my experience with Wally at Speedway Auto Sales was far superior to the last time I bought a used car. I will be sure to let my fellow paramedics with the City of Winnipeg know that he's good to deal with!
