Murder on the Orient Express was amazing! I highly recommend checking it out. Vertigo theater is a pleasure to go to, it has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The actors are professional and the plays are always memorable. Plus you can get featured drinks at the bar before the performance.

Saw Nevermore at Vertigo last night and it was absolutely incredible! Every single voice, the actors, the story - impeccably well done and flawless performances from beginning to end. Love cozier theatres and Vertigo is great from any seat. Bravo to the cast and crew!

Everything I have seen here, challenges the $300 Broadway performances at the Jubilee I’ve seen. Tonight was Nevermore, and the talent was extraordinary, the singing, the music, the costumes, the performances of each actor was outstanding and belongs on a larger stage.I’ve seen 6 plays here and 6 at Lunchbox Theater and I am never disappointed.Bravo!

Love coming back every couple of months to watch a new show. Volunteers awesome. They had books on sale to match the topic and author this time. Great social evening to meet friends and family if you're looking for something entertaining to do.

Went to see Nevermore and it was wonderful. Vertigo is always a good time no matter what show I've come to see, but I was very excited to return to see Nevermore a second time after 10+ years.

Not one of our favourites. The costumes were cool, the voices were great and the songs were creative. But, we disliked it enough to leave at the intermission. The story was not compelling and didn't seem to be going anywhere, and it took too long to get there. Aside from being about a mystery writer, this didn't seem to fit the Vertigo mandate. Weird is not the same as eerie.

Very nice venue with excellent staff.Saw an excellent play/musical here and was happily entertained. Only minus was air conditioning was blasting and I could hear everyone around me commenting about how chilly it was in the theatre

Nevermore. Omg!!! The show was one of the best I've ever seen, blew me away. It should be on Broadway, absolutely fantastic. It was a musical on the life of Edgar Allan Poe. Unlike anything you have ever seen. Unbelievably powerful, the music on par with Les Miserable and the voices, acting , costumes and choreography totally sublime, takes your breath away.!!! The cast gave it there all and got a well deserved full standing ovation. Bravo to everyone involved, a masterpiece.

I was thrilled to see Nevermore, produced by Catalyst Theatre on stage at Vertigo. An updated version of the original with the same cast and crew Nevermore was totally enthralling. Vertigo Mystery Theatre has been a Calgary classic for decades but the past several years have seen the quality of it's productions soar to compete with best and biggest in western Canada. This intimate space has a lovely atmosphere and it's affordability welcomes everyone.So looking forward to their 2023/24 Season!

Our favourite theatre in Calgary hands down. Definitely has fantastic production value, super-talented actors, and overall lovely theatre atmosphere, but nowhere near as expensive/formal as ATP. Feel very lucky to have this kind of venue in Calgary!
