Where do I start with this amazing woman-owned business? Gabriela made our wedding cake and favours and they were all beautiful and delicious. Gabriela is so wonderful to work with and made our wedding planning process so easy! I have been having her make special occasion cakes for my family and I for almost two years now and they never disappoint. I highly recommend Dulce Cake Design!

We are very grateful to have found Dulce Cake Design. Gabriela was able to accommodate my request for a gluten-free cake, and was able to incorporate fresh flowers from our florist onto the cake. Gabriela, the woman behind Dulce Couture Cakes, is the definition of “girl boss.” When we sat down with her for our tasting, we got to talking about how she found herself in the business of making cakes. Her journey to Dulce Couture is one of passion, hard work and perseverance. I felt so inspired by her after meeting her in person!But, I digress. Besides her incredible story, she creates deliciously flavourful and moist cakes with delicate and ornate handmade details. During our tasting, we sampled four different cakes with four different icings, including the one that we had told her we were interested in. We also talked about sugar flower designs, colour schemes, and the overall feel that we were shooting for, which she took into consideration while crafting her final design. At our request, she happily added poppyseeds to the lemon cake we chose, and went out of her way to purchase a ribbon to tie around the cake’s top tier to pull the whole look together.When we saw our cake on our wedding day, it was exactly what we were expecting. A modern, minimal cake with a touch of romance. We saved the cake for our family to eat the day after the wedding, which made for the perfect post-wedding treat as we reminisced about our magical evening the night before.

Dulce Cake Design came to us highly recommended, and Gabriela did not disappoint. We were especially impressed by the cake tasting, that gave us a lot of options and allowed us to solidify our vision. Gabriela did our wedding favours (macarons) and I could not recommend her more! She gave us exactly what we wanted, and was so lovely and easy to communicate with. The macarons tasted and looked amazing.

So happy to have had Gabriela make the cake for our wedding. The cake was an absolute hit, and everybody loved it. It was so beautiful and exactly what I wanted! She was so kind and accommodating as our plans changed due to the pandemic. So good!

My husband and I just got married and we had our 3 tier customized cake made by Gabriela and it was honestly so delicious and one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We got the pumpkin spice cake with cream cheese buttercream and it was such a hit. We got so many compliments at the wedding, seriously!! We're saving the top tier for our anniversary and it also freezes really well. Gabriela from Dulce Cake Design, was amazing to work with, and she created a beautiful cake for our wedding. We were very happy that we had the option to choose from a wide variety of unique flavours (we chose lemon and raspberry and are so happy we did). Gabriela also designed and created small favour cakes for our guests to take home, and they were all pleasantly surprised.

I found Dulce Cake Design on instagram and her work looked beautiful so we thought we’d give it a try! Gabriela made macaron favours (with packaging) and a cake for our wedding. The macarons were delicious and pretty - we received a lot of compliments from our guests. The cake looked beautiful with edible flowers. The cake was composed of two flavours - carrot and salted caramel chocolate cake. The carrot was good, but I’m giving 3 stars because the salted caramel chocolate cake was too salty and this was served at our wedding. We received complaints because when they would take some bites there would be an overwhelming section of salt. Perhaps it was too much or it wasn’t mixed well? I’m not sure…but I emailed Gabriela to thank her and let her know our feedback a couple of months ago and I still did not receive a response unfortunately.

Her cake was on display at a wedding we attended, and after trying it, we knew we had to get in contact with her! She put our vision into a cake and made it taste very yummy too! Our guests were obsessed about the cake pops as well. We would recommend her for sure. Thank you Gabriela for creating such a beautiful cake for our wedding!
