Infinite Tire
Can't call it public art - it's not public, it's paid for by Canadian Tire, and it's not art (Coupland said that!).Nice place anyway. Weird chairs, no garbage cans, and lots of a cigarette buts. There's some very aggressive design here. It's semi closed off being interrupted by a marsh and the entrance is off Marine Drive.

Infinite Tire
The series of stacked tires, each smaller than the one beneath it, is riff on famous Romanian artist Constantin Brancusi's Infinite Column" but with the national store chain's tires. This public art is created by Douglas Coupland who is a Vancouver based artist and author of many books. He was born in Germany."

I really enjoy this sculpture, it is a little odd, but I like it.
