Hunter's

Very disappointed in the girls talking loudly and giggling like 12 year olds not speaking English….. yelling across the store in a language no one understands but them. It is very disrespectful. They are not helpful and very rude. I only go in the store when they are not there. There are very nice employees (a older English speaking lady) who is helpful and friendly.

Store is under new ownership. Gas prices are competitive. Overall good experience. Some staff from previous ownership still there. Friendly place. Just want to point out they are open until 10pm on weekdays not 11 as advertised.

EDIT: Came back in recently after a friend decided to stop here for gas.. I was pretty annoyed coming back here as all I could think about was that tainted DP slurpee. I went in and to my surprise they have brand new machines. The machines were great. They had a much larger selection and my Dr. Pepper slurpee was absolutely pristine. Hunter's has turned it around big time and is now a top slurpee joint in Vernon. It's always good to give people a second chance and this was proof of that. :)I came in and got a Dr.Pepper slurpee, as well as a Pepsi one. The Dr Pepper tasted like mold, absolutely disgusting. It's like noone cleans the machines there. The Pepsi one didnt even taste like pepsi but at least i didnt risk dying from contamination. Devon suggested i come to your store... your slurpees are twice the price of maxx and they dont even taste half as good. I even called the store and the line was busy for over an hour. I'm sure it's other people complaining about the dirty slurpee machines.

Update your hours so frustrating going here and you are closed because you don’t update you hours that are posted on Google

our favourite neighbourhood corner store for going on 3 decades. have everything from fuel, propane, lotto, slushies, ice cream, water dispenser, fire wood, 5 cent candy, etc. Hunter’s staff are always helpful, friendly and respectful to anyone that walks in (including our tweenage children).

New to Town but Quickly Becomming Regulars..very Nice & Friendly Store/Gas...Anything from gas to Eggs and Bacon to Ice Caps to Innertubes for these hot Days

Great little neighborhood convenience store. Staff are friendly and efficient. They have pretty much anything you need, from car oil to milk and eggs, and they're even a dry cleaning drop off location.

service is all over the place. one time I stood at the lotto counter for a full five minutes being ignored whole other customers showed up after me at the other counter and were still served sooner. why have a lotto counter if you can't keep track of it or don't want to serve customers from it?? so, I just walked out and took my business somewhere else.

Good convenience store in the neighborhood. The closing hours are inconsistent with what is shown online. Not all days are open until 11. There have been a few times where I am out shortly after 10pm and it is already closed for the night. I wish it was more consistent.It tends to be a little bit more pricey than other convenience stores. A bag of chips will run you about $6 while other convenience stores tend to be around $5.50. Candy, a soda, and a bag of chips will cost you $18 total.Staff is always super friendly. The aisles are always clean.

Longtime staff mean comfortable meets routine.Best fresh popped popcorn in town.Cool tshirts and hats around the store.A little bit if everything.
