Everyone claims they have the best chicken sandwich. I’d have to say Nim’s, definitely gets it for Calgary.The value can’t be beat and most importantly, extremely fresh and made to order.Staff was amazingly friendly. Restaurant concept is take-out only. Will be back

HALAL FOODIES say hello to your new fav guilty pleasure food! Seriously some of the best Nashville style fried chicken I've tried here and this is coming from someone who doesn't even like it much. The burger was huge and perhaps a little too greasy but their loaded waffle fries were just too good.My only complaint would be I wish they had a balanced ratio of chicken to fries as I quickly ran out of meat and was left with too many fries. Sauces are out of this world and the guy working even threw in a free extra Snapple as it was our first time.They're just operating as a takeout out of Universe Restaurant at the moment but plan on expanding to their own premises soon as demand keeps increasing. Can't wait to be back!

Real hot chicken if you like spicy, you can choose the hot level. We had loaded fries and the potion is huge. Way more than enough for 2 people. Great .

Absolutely amazing food! The staff was so friendly and the food was perfect. I was even given an extra tender and an extra dipping sauce for free. Highly recommend, best halal fast food in Calgary

The Best Nashville Chicken Sandwich in Calgary! I’m gonna bet that this is going to be one of the staple comfort food of Calgary next to seniores’ pizza. A take-out only joint located inside the Universe breakfast bar. Situated along the busy street of 17th ave. With lots of street parking space around the block. It’s best to call beforehand and order for pick-up.Nim’s Chicken Sandwich:-Nashville style chicken sandwich-Waffle fries-Comeback sauceThis is a HUGE chicken sandwich. The chicken was outrageously bigger than the bun! Nashville spice has just the right amount of kick and won’t hurt your tongue. The chicken thigh meat was crispy and juicy in the inside. The brioche bun was buttery and compliments well with their home-made Comeback sauce. The whole sandwich was 5-star on itself! Many claimed they got the best chicken sandwich but I kid you not, This Is The One! For only $14, you’ll have yourself a humongous servings of sandwich, waffle fries and sauce. That is the best deal for this insanely good meal!Tender combo (3pcs):-Hot chicken tenders (breast)-Waffle fries-Coleslaw-Pickles-Slice of breadThis one too has an enormous serving that we had to give ourself a break and finish the rest the next day! Medium hot (Nashville) was just the right smack of spice. The chicken tenders were huge and pickles compliments the flavour of the breading. Waffle fries and Comeback sauce added more pleasure to the overall Nim’s Fried Chicken experience.Definitely coming back here m to try the other flavours!

This little spot is located inside another bar and available for takeout only but is well worth it. The portions are MASSIVE and the service was amazing. Some of the best hot chicken in the city; we got the platter and had an unbelievable amount of food there was loads of leftovers. Make sure to try the animal style waffle fries.

Came here for some food as we were wondering around 17th Ave after an event. We were hot and hungry, and I LOVE a good hot chicken sandwich.The staff were amazing and kind! Even offering us a glass of water while we waited for our food.I ordered the DAMN Hot chicken sandwich, my wife the 2 piece Plain Jane strips, and we shared some waffle fries. I enjoyed the heat of my sandwich and could stand it hotter (may have to go up a level next time), but what I really liked was the seasoning and flavor that went with the heat. My wife also commented that the seasoning on her strips was very nice as well. The waffle fries were good (crispy outside and fluffy in with a nice seasoning), but next time, we would try a different side. Also, the sandwich and strips are HUGE!! We couldn't finish and had to take half home.Important to note that Nims is take out only, but that is easily solved by enjoying your meal at near by Tompkins Park!Would recommend this place for both the great food and staff - we'll be back!

By far the best fried chicken sandwich in Calgary. The spice levels are amazing and the combinations of flavours are really great as well.The waffle fries were my personal favourite but everything on the menu tastes great. Will definitely be back for more!
