Sundre Motor Inn

The floor in the hallway is soft. Like mushy. It smelled like mold and rot just off the lobby. I paid the same price the night before in Calgary for a hotel with a breakfast buffet a pool and general cleanliness.

I booked this room solely based on photos and reviews.**BEWARE This motel is far below par, the parking is not what one should feel comfortable with, when I asked if they had any issues I was advised to be careful and leave absolutely nothing in sight. Prior to paying I asked to view the room, when we went inside we were immediately met with an overpowering chemical smell like they were trying to mask something. We went outside to discuss staying there and my son pointed out a window, discarded empty alcohol containers, and when I looked out our room window there was no way we could see our vehicle due to stacked debris. I returned and explained our concerns and the front desk person said no they would not work with us, any negative review would be unfair??? I said warning people is not unfair, so I do not understand all these fine reviews, the pics and facts do not lie!

Words can't describe how amazingly Thoughtful appreciative . Helpful . Easy to have a informative conversation with the owners and courtesy level of friendly staff. Mr. Moon and his Family welcomed me into there motel with such high levels of courtsey and have personally helped me become a happier healthier person. Bright Clean rooms. Lots of amenities. Trustworthy approachable hard working family. Great view good Comfortable safe relaxed positive peace of mind. Thank you .

As good as you can expect for a low cost!Was sufficient to meet our needs, all staff were very friendly and helpful. I would highlyrecommend this place to stay when in Sundre.

Came across this place by chance when everything else was booked and I urgently needed a place to stay. I didn't have high hopes based on the price but they completely blew me away. Amazing price, amazing staff and the rooms were clean, smelled clean, the beds were perfect - not too firm and not too soft. The room was in great condition (dated but adds to the charm of the place honestly) with black out curtains, ac, larger sized mini fridge, microwave and satellite TV. The front desk lady was incredibly friendly. I just can't say say enough good things about this place.I know you can't have it all especially at the phenomenal price point but I would have liked a kettle in the room to make my coffee in the morning. That's the only thing that could improve my stay.We plan on staying again if we're ever in the area. Certainly restored my faith in being able to travel on a budget but still receive clean, safe and friendly accommodations.

Good for a cheap hotel decent rooms the staff needs to learn a bit better English but they ate nice

If your looking for somewhere cheap stay this is the place , the rooms could use a few things like peephole and secondary locking mechanism on the doors, but overall they are OK.As for service most of the staff are friendly and welcoming accept for the one dark haired brunette, she tried to over charge me 40 dollars and then at check out decided I needed to pay a extra 10$ a day for my spouse to be in the room. This was after being here for 6 days.Not sure if she was trying to pocket it or what , but I talked to the owner and he insured me I wouldn't be charged for it.

The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. We stayed there on a hot July day and were concerned the room would be hot. But the blackout curtains and air conditioning unit kept it cool.

This place exceeded my expectations in every way. The building is older but well maintained, the rooms are spotless and the sheets smell fresh and are crisp. There are cameras throughout the property and I feel incredibly safe. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be staying here again in the future.
