We have been extremely pleased with Dr. George Benbassat and team. The experience was very pleasant, easy and efficient from beginning to end in terms for timeliness, professionalism and expertise. As my son took off his braces my daughter started her process and we are ready for the next one! Thank you.

My daughter has been going to Benbassat Orthodontics for over a year now. We have enjoyed coming to Benbassat Orthodontics as they completely cater to their patients with entertainment for the children while they wait. The office is clean, extremely professional and visually appealing to the eye with modern décor. Keep up the good work!!

I just wanted to share the unfortunate experience we had at Dr. Benbassat office so that other parents won't go through this experience! We were referred to this office by a general dentist for our five-year-old son. After taking X-ray images, Dr. Benbassat told us that there are issues with four of his teeth and he can only do that by putting my son to sleep (under anesthesia) because my son won't sit still!! We were so worried as we didn't want our son to undergo an anesthesia experience at this young age just to have his baby teeth fixed! We searched and found another dentist and surprisingly the new dentist could fix my son's teeth just using Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) which is a safe, effective sedation option used to calm a child's fear of the dental visit. I am so disappointed that Dr. Banbessat didn't even try that safer method for my son. I advise parents to always seek a second opinion before making such an important decision for their children.

This's the first time of my eldest (8 years old) to an orthodontic dentist office for a cavity procedure so I did not really know what to expect. I was so nervous as I knew how my boy can be nervous with doctors and new situations. But this was beyond amazing!! On my way there he started crying but, once we got to the clinic Dr. Benbassat and his friendly staff actually had him smiling and giggling by explaining the steps and demonstrating.The office is really clean, professional and children friendly with electronic tablets and TVs to make the experience pleasurable for the kids. Nice appealing and calming ambience.After we got back home my son asked me if he can come visit Dr. Benbassat again! I am blown away and so relieved at what a great experience this was! I will definitely be recommending Dr. Benbassat to everyone with kids! :)

Dr. Benbassat fixed all three of my children’s teeth. Very professional. Amazing staff. Appointments always run on time. After hours emergency number available. I will recommend Benbassat Orthodontics to all my family and friends!

I’d like to share our horrible experience with the services of Orthodontist, Dr. George Benbassat.My teenage daughter has gotten braces from Dr. Bebbassat at the beginning of December 2020. The night the braces were put in, she developed a severe headache. The headache did not stop and after few days she was taken to Mackenzie Health for examination as well as CT scan. She was also checked by the ophthalmologist and pediatrician and all the results came back normal. At the hospital, we were suggested that her ongoing headache pain might’ve been a direct cause of braces installed too tight. When we called Dr. Bebbassat's office for advice, Dr. Bebbassat was cold and unsupportive, he did not offer us to come and check my daughter’s braces. He also did not offer any potential adjustment of the treatment like changing wires, reducing tension etc.After suffering for 3 more days and taking tons of painkillers, we decided to have the braces removed completely.When we called the office to schedule the appointment, Dr. Bebbassat refused to take the braces off. It took us several calls and conversations with both him and the secretary to schedule an appointment to remove her braces. My daughter was seen by doctors at Sickkids where she had an MRI and various neurological tests, and we were also told that since all her tests are normal, the cause of the headache most likely was the pressure from the braces.I’ve reached out on numerous occasions to Dr. Benbassat with the ask to refund our deposit of $1520 and that the deposit amount we paid in good faith was to cover full 18-24 month treatment. Dr. Benbassat attitude has crossed all lines, he refused to refund the deposit or any portion of it and had absolutely no compassion and understanding towards the situation which was caused by his work.I never expected such an unprofessional attitude from any licensed doctor and especially one that works with children.

Now that the orthodontic treatments have been completed on all of my family (3 kids), I wanted to thank Dr. Benbassat and his staff and let you know how pleased we all are.We found in Dr. George Benbassat and his staff, everything we could ask for: professional care, dedication, lots of patience and above everything a very human and personal approach.

We had a positive experience with Dr. Benbassat and his team. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and made my daughter feel comfortable. She has special needs and the staff always put her at ease and she always left with a smile on her face. A perfect smile! I might add. My son will be needing braces soon and I will definitely be returning to Dr. Benbassat.

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Benbassat and his term, both my kids are having Dr. Benbassat as their Orthodotist. He and his entire staffs are very accomadating, friendly and professional. Dr. Benbassat is not only very knowledgeble but very patient with kids. We not only never have to wait beyon our schedule appointment times, but we also are able to access Dr. Benbassat via text/cell phone for urgent issues which my daughter has couple of those before. The recent one is this weekend, she told me Saturday night that a wire stick out and poking on her cheek and can't wait till Monday because she has a 3 day school trip, I texted Dr. Benbassat on Sunday around 10 am and he replied back to meet us at his office at 2 :50 PM to fix that for my daughter so she can enjoy her trip. He is the only Dr that go out of his way to do things like that for his client. I would highly recommend Dr. Benbassat to anyone that looking for a good othodontist!!
