Richard is a true professional. His designs are unique and beautiful. We've had so many compliments for our entrance. I would recommend him to all my friends and family.

I have to echo the review of Reg S.I had CDO replace the corners of my pool deck and pour a new concrete floor for the egress stairs into my basement a few years ago.The pool corners are fine. But the egress cracked after the first winter. They came buy and put a thin skim coat on to fill and cover the cracks. That looked horrible, like my cement had varicose veins, but I was going to live with it if it solved the problem. It was cosmetic and they are only egress stairs.It didn’t. The skim coat started flaking/chipping and it cracked again after the winter.Last summer, 2020, they came by at the beginning of the season and said they would deal with it. They never showed up.The cracking and heaving got worse after this winter so I wrote them again.The answer I received was :“Your warranty was with anther company that closed down, not my company.If you haven’t read The review by Reg S. I suggest you do.Update - Within hours , their reply was to say that I am not one of their customers. It is sad that Sylvain would take this approach and not take ownership for the work he did. I have my invoice, proof enough, and Richard’s name is still on the website. It seriously seems that the new owner has a different perspective of customer service that the old owner did.

It is a pleasure to write this review. In 2015, we decided it was time for our old interlock to go. We did not want interlock again as weeds have always been a real problem, no matter what product we used or what we did to minimize their growth. Researching alternatives, we discovered Concrete Designs. Right from the start, Richard impressed us as a person who is dedicated to his customers. He took his time to explain the product to us and the numerous options of designs and colours. We are so happy with our stamped concrete. It looks good - people stop by to take a look and it is maintenance free. Only requires a sealer once a year. We highly recommend Concrete Designs without hesitation.March 22, 2019 - We are very happy to add the following comment to our previous review. Our stamped concrete still looks great - 4 years after it was done. Still looks like new, no wear and tear, no damage, no movement / shifting whatsoever, despite our harsh winters. We are thrilled at the job that Concrete Designs of Ottawa did to our front porch and walkway. A weathered porch and sunken interlock walkway have a new shape, design and look and it's outstanding. It isn't slippery, and we were able to pick a colour to complement our brick. Richard was fantastic at helping pick out the right tone and giving design advice too. I'm so glad we went with concrete instead of interlock.

We are really happy with our patio and walkway that Richard and Sylvain worked on for us last summer (August 2018). Its been a year and it still looks new!We would highly recommend them, they were always on time with quality work.

We had interlock and we always had to get it fixed and had grass/weeds in between bricks. We contacted Contrete Designs of Ottawa and Richard came and removed all the interlock,and poured the cement. It is beautiful, been getting a lot of compliments. We would recommend Richard and his helper anytime.

My wife and I had been wanting to widen our single car driveway for many years. I couldn't decide between asphalt (the cheaper more boring alternative) or decorative concrete (more durable and aesthetically pleasing). After evaluating both options, we decided to go with decorative concrete from Concrete Designs of Ottawa and we are extremely happy we did! The walkways/entrance/front steps look great! We would recommend Concrete Designs of Ottawa to anyone looking to upgrade the exterior appearance of their property.Richard and his team were very professional and meticulous. They arrived on-time every day, the maintained a clean job-site, they were polite and took the time to answer all of my questions. They also provided input into the design, colour of the concrete and finish. I had a large sidewalk done on the side of my house by Richard and his team. I could not be more satisfied with the results. It looks awesome and is built to last. I would highly recommend them. Very professional they know all about concrete. A+++

The crew, Syalvain and Richard, are very nice. They help us during the process and are very particular to detail. They were here on time and if they could not make it due to weather they were advising us well in advance. Waited for one year to write review all I can say is his work is fantastic, quality work, good prices and prompt service a year later and looks like finished yesterday. Will be getting him to redo the front of our home next.
