Kitchen Stuff Plus

Visited Toronto from the States post-Covid and went into this place to shop for a digital food scale. Found and bought one that was on sale for $19.99. Used it for less than a week and now all measurements are off. Called the store for a refund but was told I have to bring it back otherwise no refund. Tried calling the customer service center but no one return my call. What a terrible place with cheap unreliable products. Will never go there again. Terrible products and horrible customer service.Update 6/25: You should speak with your manager before replying to my review. It was your manager that told me no refund and refused to help me. The item was bought during our memorial holiday weekend.

Only one register open and that cashier and 2 other dales associates were helping that customer. For just over 5 minutes a sales associate continued to stock shelves directly behind us before coming around to open a till while 4 others lined up behind me...

A great kitchen equipment store, featuring all the latest gadgets for the kitchen plus more, including baths and dining rooms, all the shelves are fully stocked for all your needs.

Huge collection of well priced kitchen and household gadgets. It fun to just to browse around but be warned, you will be tempted to part with your money every time you go in there. :) I find the pricing quite good. No need to cross border to shop at the US outlets anymore. Yeah!

Very unprofessional store manager with appalling customer service. Avoid shopping at this location at all cost.I had a horrific experience with the behavior of the store manager Kruti at this location while trying to return an unopened Good Grip Salad Spinner that my husband had bought. I ended up not only wasting considerable amount of time with her without success but all the while being completely mistreated by her derogatory behavior and insulting me after lying to my face that she could not locate our purchased item on their system with my Kitchen Stuff Plus customer account and insinuating that I was lying about the purchase! She was extremely demeaning.I took the same item return issue to Kitchen Stuff Plus at 8825 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill (Yonge and Hightech road) location, where the store associate Elaine and store manager Gina were extremely courteous and helpful by pulling up my Kitchen Stuff Plus account and locating the receipt for the purchase of the aforementioned item. They gave us a store credit without any issues in less than five minutes. It was in complete contrast to the horrific and unprofessional experience I had with the store manager Kruti at this Markham location who would also have had access to the same purchase information.My family and I are never shopping at this Kitchen Stuff Plus Markham location again.Update: I have indeed written to your customer service head office detailing the outrageous and offensive incident with the store manager Kruti and providing copies of all pertaining receipts prior to writing this post as the store manager was seriously out of line.I now also note other previous reviews here stating unfriendly and incompetent customer service at this Markham store location when it comes to returning items. I suggest you provide proper training on policy and protocols on such customer service matters. I've been a long standing customer of KSP and as indicated above, the KSP location at Richmond Hill (Yonge and High Tech Road) handles these matters much more positively and effectively.

Very clean and organized store. Plenty parking in this plaza. Huge collection of great priced kitchen and household items for shoppers. There was a male associate approached me twice to offer assistance during my visit. He was very welcoming and friendly.I always come out with 1-2 full bags of kitchen items when I only need one small thing. Just happened today I was in a rush and went in to check the price. Will come back soon. Please keep up the great customer service!

Very unpleasant. I came to return the curtain which is more transparent than we expected. The lady keep saying that their policy is that things cannot be returned if they are opened. Don’t you think it’s ridiculous to write that in the policy? How do we know the things are good or not if we don’t open the box? Even though they give me the refund finally but I feel insulted and definitely won’t visit again.

This store is really not customer friendly! I’ve bought a lot of stuff from this store, until one day I bought a automatic dispenser there, found it just spit too much every time, even after my tuning it down to the lowest level. I then went to their store to just ask for an exchange for another model (not a refund), they refused with a very inpatient manner saying I have tried and used it, their policy not allowed for an exchange. OMG, if I didn’t try it out, how can I know it has that defect? Will never go to this store again, and not recommend because of their poor customer oriented spirit and short sighted vision.
