We were looking forward to our first shawarma here, but sadly very disappointed. We had chicken which was like leather. So tough almost unedible. The person serving us was talking on her phone the whole time with no interest in serving us. The atmosphere was noisy and stressful. This was our first and last time

Honestly, one of the best shawarma places I've been to in Ontario.. The food is always fresh, and they are generous with their servings. They don't cheap out on the sauces like other fake shawarma places, truly authentic and tasty. Friendly staff and the service is excellent as well. Keep it up Joseph's Shawarma, I'll definitely be returning and I have already told my friends about your spot!

This is absolutely horrible for $20. I got a wrap with rice and a bottle of pop came to $18 and then i wasted my entire lunch period trying to peel my wrap out of the wrapper it was fused to. I was unsuccessful, it was so stuck to the wrapper that it just ripped open the entire length of the wrap. Which got so much worse when I tried to eat it. I even called ahead so i wouldn't waste my whole lunch but this completely ruined that. Everything just fell out of the wrap. It was almost impossible to eat. Complete waste of time and money. Not going back. So much for supporting local.

We all know how some places can be during closing hours, but this place is believe it or not is incredibly amazing. They do a great job maintaining the food fresh and it was delicious. Amazing portions and you won’t be disappointed with the flavours.

It's been a while since new owners took over and you can really tell. I've been three times and they never have beef, even though they say it'll be an hour wait lol. Cause who wants to wait an hour for shawarma?You usually can't go wrong with shawarma cause it's really just meat and veggies lol. But apparently you can. The wrap comes open on both ends making it hard to eat without everything falling out. I used to love Joseph's shawarma, and I think today will be the last day I'll go.

Fantastic shawarma meal!Generous portion, delicious and the free lentil soup (assuming it was as a promotion or just handing out their fresh soup for customers) was just a added bonus!Would/will come back again of I'm in the area

Terrible new ownership. I was a huge fan of the lentil soup with the previous owners and very sad to see them go. The portions are much smaller now and the lentil soup was very watery. Also I asked if the soup came with a pita and they literally gave me a thin square fajita of some sort. The previous owners gave an actual pita (the same which they used for shawarma). One of the owners was also extremely rude to my mom who is hard of hearing. She asked if they were Lebanese and I guess he said they were from Iraq. She asked again because she didn’t hear them the first time and one of the owners started saying “you didn’t hear me?” Over and over, in a very rude tone. Then began to say “Iraqi food is much better then Lebanese” etc etc. I will not be returning unfortunately after this experience with the new owners. Also shouldn’t be keeping the name as the previous place as it makes one think it’s the same ownership. Good luck.
