I use TIMEX for thirty years and am more the happy with its accuracy and continuity. Very sorry to see them closing their office and hope to find a watchmaker who fix TIMEX. If any exist there please put here his phone number (ONTARIO) only!!!!!!I change batteries myself for lack of watchmakers nearby, I am in Richmond hill Ontario Please leave here a phone so I can call. BEWARE, I sent my watch to repair in July 2019, send a cheque too for the repair, new battery and new wrist bracelet as requested. In October got my watch back WITHOUT any repairs, no battery and no bracelet; AND of course NO CHEQUE BACK. even if I called, and called and called they keep saying that they are checking to send my cheque back. I went to a local watch store in Rosemere Mall, repaired my watch and new battery in less than 5 days. I am posting this in January 2021. STILL NO CHEQUE.

What is with this company. I am trying to cancel my order and cant get through to customer service. Voice mail recording “no routes found” is the answering machine when you call. I left 3 emails over the last couple weeks and heard nothing back. Unreachable.

Too bad you can't give 0. I bought a watch from Amazon and it stopped working 33 days after I purchased it - 3 days after Amazon's guarantee. So, I had to send it to Timex for a $12.50 fee. They received it May 4 and it's now ready to be looked at" (5 weeks later). I can expect to receive it 4 to 6 weeks from now - so 2 to 2.5 months after I sent it to them. Terrible service!!!!! Update - after this review my watch was delivered

Customers take a licking and Timex keeps on ticking.. ordered a watch , got lost ...not shipped- either way . it never came. Got my money back after loaning Timex the 300 plus dollars to buy the watch..at least i got my money back. should have read the reviews first. Nice watches though, maybe i can cut the AD out and wear the paper on my wrist. Timex clearly haven't used their watches to keep up with time. 2022 folks! on the other hand maybe they have! that's why they are so behind! Save yourself the hassle, read the reviews and buyer bewarecustomer service helped me though so that a positive.

Completely appalling service by a company that wants us to believe that they are professional. I called to enquire about the origin of the movement of a watch i wanted to buy and they could not tell me the origin. I went ahead to get the watch because it looked nice. I got the watch which was actually k1 mineral glass and japanese movement and totally not worth the 650 cnd. The watch was advertised as coming in quality packaging but the real packaging is just poor quality paper. I called immediately to start a return and was told that returns cannot be made since the last two weeks in Canada because they have a technical issue with Canada post. I was asked to wait. I am wondering how many people must be waiting to do returns for the past two weeks. Do not buy Timex, overrated and terrible customer service.

I want to share my first and definitely last transaction with this horrible company, Timex! I only gave it one star though it really deserves ZERO stars. I purchased a watch for my son on Nov 9 for Christmas and he received a similar one from his wife so wanted to exchange mine for a different piece. When he finally reached them via email (since their customer service offices are closed during business days and weekends too - when are you supposed to speak with a live person since you can't even leave a message?!) on Dec 28 he was told that the watch was bought 3 days before the date allowed for exchanges (Nov 12). Are you kidding? It is in the original packaging, pictures were sent, it was never worn, and my son wants to EXCHANGE it not get a refund and he plans on spending MORE money for new one. After several emails to customer service (and I got involved) I finally reached a rep and asked for my call to be escalated to a manager and was told there are no managers here!? WTH? She finally was willing to speak to her manager and ask if a refund will be approved and promised to let me know within 48 hours. That was last week and I received no email back. I've tried every day to phone and the customer services numbers (there are two) indicate the office is closed and to send an email! This is totally unacceptable and I will do my very best to smear the name of Timex to everyone I know including the media (who I've already informed). Shame on you Timex for such rotten and underhanded business practices!

It ridiculously takes time for Timex to process my refund. It’s already been 10 days since they received the watch and have not taken any actions yet. I have already called their Customer Service twice and all I got promised for was that they’ve already placed a note to process my refund. I am not sure how much longer should I have to wait before they take action. This will definitely be going to be my first and last order from Timex.

I’ve been a Timex customer since the 1980’s: in fact, my first watch (a gift from my parents) was a Timex. Since then, I’ve own Timex dress watches, Iron Man watches, digital sports watches, etc. One of the benefits, as with my costlier watches (Rolexes, Omegas, etc.) was that there was ALWAYS walk-in service for my watches should I need new seals, battery replacements, straps and bracelets, etc. Since closing it’s doors in the Toronto area, I no longer have anywhere to take my timepieces for factory service. If Timex no longer values Canadian customers or their hard-earned money enough to maintain a Service Centre here, then I will no longer purchase Timex watches for myself or as gifts. It’s really a shame - they used to be a great company.

I loved the marlin watch I received as a gift but the customer service or lack of it is unprecedented for a company of this size. Management needs to prioritize or there won’t be a company to manage much longer, truly pathetic.Edit to add none of their customer service numbers work nor have they ever replied to the multiple emails spanning 4 weeks.
