The Salon on the Grand

I feel so lucky to have found salon on the grand. I’ve had multiple hi light and hair cut appointments with nothing less than complete satisfaction with the results. A whole lot of talent and skill up in there, with such a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.

Where do I begin... First time at this salon - researched and seen the great reviews and thought what the heck, lets try it.After not having a haircut or color in over 2 years and being a new mom to a 8 month old I needed a change. I walked into a welcoming, warm atmosphere. I was greeted by the receptionist who informed me I was scheduled with Lauren. Lauren welcomed me with a warm personality and listened to all my needs and concerns about my hair. She gave her opinion on what would be the best fit for me and my lifestyle with a new baby. Her professionalism and keen eye for detail stood out to me. She took her time with every task she completed and checked in to see how I was doing, if I needed anything, etc. I could tell she takes pride in her work.As we got closer to the grand reveal of my hair color my husband informed me that our daughter was a little out of sorts in the car with him. When I stated this to Lauren, with no questions asked she allowed my husband and daughter to come into the salon so my daughter could see where I was. This small little gesture hit my heart.Thank you Lauren for the wonderful color and cut I received from you today. Your warm and caring personality stood out and I will be definitely be back to see you in the near future.All the ladies at the salon where wonderful! They all have wonderful personalities and were excellent with my daughter and husband.If anyone is looking for a drama and gossip free, chill atmosphere then you need to book with The Salon on the Grand today. Love this salon! I have been going here for over a year now. I’m always welcomed warmly with smiles & kind greetings by all the staff. My stylist Lauren listens to my requests for cut & colour and checks with me many times during my appointment to make sure I’m happy with my hair and have everything I need. I always leave feeling beautiful and pampered. I highly recommend this salon!

I love going to the salon. Brooke my stylist always listens to what I want with my hair and is always attentive. The salon has such a positive vibe when you walk in. Alex is always friendly and upbeat. The salon is always such a amazing environment and I always leave feeling very happy with my hair and the vibe that is there. I love the salon on the grand :)

Let me tell you something about this salon. Not only did they have exactly what I needed while dropping by for product (Aveda blonde revival shampoo and conditioner) but the front desk reps were beyond anything I have ever experienced in the service industry in my 12 years working in it. So I leave the salon, remarking on how clean, aesthetically pleasing and how lovely the staff were. I go to my car. Grab a Tim’s cruise around the block and I realize my phone is missing. So I go back to the The Salon and the front desk rep says nope so sorry it’s not here. But then she goes “Have you got find my phone set on your iPhone?” I go “yep” she goes “come back here have a seat, use OUR COMPUTER TO FIND THAT THING!” I was like what is happening? Anyone these days who has seen how customer service died after millennials would have thought that they were dreaming as well. Fast forward, I’m in the computer I found my phone at the closest intersection and I just thought WOW, I would totally come back here next time and give these people my money gladly. Just because that was one of the nicest things anyone has done for me in a long time. And I’m not even a regular. Just your average Jane dough who needed to de brass the blonde in my hair. Popped by and there you have it. Support this salon. They’re good people. Thanks so much guys! You saved me 1000$ two babies waiting and hungry for lunch, SO MUCH TIME and stress. Forever thankful! I came to Jodie after I messed up my hair while the salons were shut down during the Covid lockdown.The progress my hair has made since becoming her client is mind-blowing.She took my melted hair and made it beautiful again.Jodie is a hair wiz and to top it off I'm blonde and she never seizes to amaze me with the results. She comes up with the best toner formulas every time!And it doesn't cost an arm and a leg either :)The salon atmosphere is so warm and welcoming all the girls make it such a nice experience. If you're looking for a hair salon in Fergus, you will not leave Salon on the Grand disappointed!!!!

This was my first time ever going to this salon and I must say I was very pleased!! Sonya was my stylist and she did an amazing job!! She took her time and made sure to answer all my questions I had. I will definitely be requesting to have her in the future! Thanks Sonya!!

Absolutely amazing results and service. I had Lauren, and she was so helpful. She went above and beyond my expectations, and made amazing suggestions for hair care, as well as telling me what my hair needed to stay healthy. I went in for a cut and colour, and she gave me exactly what I asked for (which is rare at hair salons!) and was just so professional about everything. She not only gave me the colour and style I wanted, but somehow totally changed my hair texture from kinda coarse and poofy to soft elegant. The whole experience was amazing. I'll definitely be coming back, this is my new favourite place!

Everyone was so friendly and made a very last minute appointment work. I love my hair, the stylist did a fantastic job!! I will definitely be going back. Prices were great too. All around amazing experience!
