We were charged $845 for something other companies would charge us $270. Standard time and charge for a normal overhead garage door spring replacement and cable check is $270 all in (service fee, diagnosis, labour). This company did not provide an itemized invoice (only a receipt for full charge) until we phoned to complain.

I wish there was a zero star option because this is the most ridiculous experience I've ever made with any business with in my life. They charged me $149.00+ for a 15-min quotation visit without telling me so before they came. I declined paying that and the guy threatened harming my wife, myself, and my vehicles. Worst experience ever!NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY !!

The guy literally worked for 30 minutes and charged 400 for such minor repairs!! If we knew this is how much we would spend, we would’ve just cancelled them.So dad forgot to call and cancel him since we already got the garage door fixed. But dad wanted to give him something because we never cancelled and he felt bad for the business so he just wanted to give him the business for something (ps. Never doing that again).The guy charged 400 dollars for just cutting 2 keys and fixing a bedroom door that wouldn’t close properly. It was a minuscule repair to one door. The breakdown was 200 per hour for labour plus cost for whatever they fix and 150 for the SERVICE CALL. So you’re telling me I shouldn’t call you guys to book your service?We fixed the garage door for half the price they charged us and we had so many things fixed on the garage. From the knobs to the wire. He only charged us $200. Company was Quality Garage Door Services for any of you reconsidering.These guys are overpriced, we are never giving them the business ever again.

THEIR PRICES ARE RIDICULOUS! I wish we had checked out these reviews before booking. We were charged $195/hour for a technician to install new weather stripping and realign a couple of doors. While they did good work, the final bill was astronomical for the work that was completed. If you love your door and want to save it, use them; otherwise look into the cost to replace the door and compare that to your quote. I’ll bet that you’ll be buying that new door.

I need a cable replaced on the roll up door on our cube van. I was excited to find someone who could do it for me, but even though they claim to be mobile they do all roll up door repairs at their main location. Fine. I booked and appointment and drove the hour and a half because I just need it done....When I got there, a tech looked at my door and took two measurements, then had to call up to Edmonton to get a quote. The quote was $700! There is no way I could justify that, so I declined. But I still had to pay $95 for them to assess what we could have easily done with a couple photos and measurements from me, instead of wasting half of my day plus the gas to get up there.The staff were friendly, but the cost, time, and ridiculous quote for what COULD be a simple repair, we're all so frustrating that I plan to never return. Nothing about that process was for my benefit as a customer.Sorry guys. 1 star is the best I can give.

Just had these guys come out to fix a door hinge it was a urgent so they charged 240.00 for the trip to assess but assured me they would not charge for the second trip to fix it. Tech told me they had the part in stock as he sent a picture to another tech who confirmed it. He said they will call the next day to schedule the fix. They did not call me so I called and them - the girl said she could not find the invoice I told her that I could give her the invoice number, she said no and the tech will call. He called and said oh they cannot get that part anywhere from any of their supplier!! They are a total rip off, they make all their money from the initial assessment and do no work - buy zero parts and never fix the problem.

Beware this company grossly overcharges!!! Charged me $386 just to make the call, and did not fix anything! Their quote to repair the door was over $2500.00. Luckily I got a second opinion, the new company fixed my door perfectly for $618.00. I emailed their customer service department with this gross discrepancy in pricing, they never responded to me.

I had this company out on July 5th and was charge $633 to have 2 wheels replaced under my sliding patio door > taking 2 minutes for the technician to complete. They charged $89 (service call - travel to site), $195 to diagnose the problem, $125 (hourly rate) to source" the part

Anyone scammed by these guys, file a complaint with Service Canada. You may get your money back.Their quote (which included berating previous service, which they happened to do) topped out at 400% over and above their competition.They're now telling us, for the privilege of receiving that estimate, they are charging us $400+ to tell us something we already knew, taking less than a few minutes to do it (got the whole thing on camera). Zero work done, that's just the cost to get a quote (which we also didn't ask for, just wanted ballpark cost). Sent a lock smith who didn't have parts or tools for overhead doors, had to spend his time on the phone with someone who knew what was up.They did not tell us of this when we called to get costs that there would be such a ridiculous fee to find out the cost. When I called to confirm with their office they said 'Service Canada and the BBB tells us we don't have to tell you about hidden charges unless you ask us. So we don't tell you unless you specifically ask.'Avoid at all costs.

I would give this company a negative rating if I could. They are not BBB Accredited. They quoted me 3000+ for weatherstripping and a garage door replacement after a minor impact. They charge 89 for a 15 minute service call. Terrible.Update. I consulted another company for a second opinion. They charged me 189.97 for 40 minutes of work. My garage door is as good as new.I can say unequivocally that I believe this company is not worth anyone's time or money. Stay clear. Throw their flyer in the garbage.
