Had my boat winterized there. First trip next spring, my boat started to sink as soon as I left the shore. They told me it was the engine drain plug that loosen up with vibration. Really? Just after 10 min? I don't think so.The same plug they took off for winterization. They won't admit that they just never put it back. II brought my boat back to them for having it fixed. I told them that half the engine was under water so check it up. I got my boat back and ready". I checked the oil before going back on the water and surprise

Very unprofessional and sketchy. Wouldn't recommend anyone taking there boat or trailer there for service.

I'm writing this review not to bash a local business but rather to share my experience. In May I dropped off my out board motor to be serviced as it was stalling while in idle. After calling different shops around town I decided to use Eagle Marine based on reviews and word of mouth. Everyone I spoke to was very polite and professional and I was told that it wouldn't be a problem to fix my motor in a short amount of time. Weeks had gone by and I still had not heard anything from them. After a few phone calls I was told that I would need a carb kit to fix my problem. Again weeks had gone by just for me to find out they had problems finding a kit. After the kit was installed and more phone calls I was informed that it did not fix the problem. I expressed my concerns over the phone about how much money it could possibly cost and he told me they would keep me at 2.5 hours labor, which they stuck too. I was told that I would probably need a new carb for my motor. I was told they would be able to get one in a day or two. I asked for a quote so I could make an informed decision on what I wanted to do next. A week had gone by and I called and found out they were not able to get me a carb. After that I had enough and decided to go and pick up my motor. When I went I was met by a women and I was told my motor was still dirty so I said I would come back the following week to pick it up once it had been cleaned. She was very polite and apologetic for how long they had my motor. As I was leaving she made a comment about how some motors cant be fixed and you just need to buy a new one. Which I did not appreciate. I feel like I could have been told that in June, not the end of July. Or have been told that it was going to take a long time to fix.So long story short. My motor is doing the exact same thing it was doing when I dropped it off in May and now I am out a large amount of money.
