Kwesiya (Flagship Store)

I bought custom made cushions from Kwesiya. They emailed me the materials and sizes to choose from and responded very promptly. I was beyond impressed with how they turned out. The quality is incredible and look amazing on my couch. I've had so many compliments on them. I will definitely buy more items from Kwesiya in the future!

EDIT: I finally received my order and I love the products I bought, and also got a phone call from Fanny and she explained that there had been two overlapping issues that resulted in the delay (material shortage and IT/her email not working correctly). I'm happy everything was able to be resolved.--------------------I ran across Kwesiya at Arts Market on a trip to Toronto a few years ago. I instantly fell in love with the clothes, pillows, etc. I even got a chance to meet Fanny who was so lovely.Unfortunately my most recent experience has not been as positive. I placed an order almost two months ago and still haven't received it, a response to the two emails I sent requesting an update, or a refund for the products that have yet to arrive. I know that we're all dealing with Covid restrictions and Canada Post delays, but this delay and lack of communication is excessive.It seems, and I hope, that this experience is an outlier, but I have to warn potential customers to proceed with caution.

I have purchased many things from Kwesiya. Her ready to wear collection is amazing with unique prints and amazing handmade pieces. Her headbands and head-wraps are a must have!

Kwesiya is what shopping at a small business should be like. The customer service is generous and genuine. The clothes are beautiful, original, and well-made. I highly recommend shopping here to everyone.

The gorgeous fabrics and designs arrested me in the street, and the lovely owner and assistant, Fanny and Emma, called me inside :) Very friendly people, great vibe, incredibly beautiful and unique clothing. I can’t wait for my new dress! Fanny offered to alter it for free within 48 hours so it is a custom fit. I’ve already recommended them to several friends. I can tell it’s dangerous I live near this store!Also, I checked out their website and discovered they’ve been part of African Fashion Week since 2013. Not at all surprised, but I feel very fortunate to have met the designer in person!

From face masks to home decor, Kwesiya has got you covered. Fanny is amazing. Over the years I have bought so many items from her. She even made some custom pieces for my wedding. “I purchased a skirt in M/L and they said I can come back for an alteration if needed. Such amazing staff and of course the wonderful designer made the experience excellent. I love the boutique feel of the store, and the fabrics! BTW - I don't need an alteration. It fits well and has enough room for me to wear a jumper with the skirt. Will be back for that silk robe soon. Can't wait to see the next collection!”

Without a doubt; I would absolutely recommend Kwesiya for the design,  quality, and customer service they deliver with their unique offerings.I met Fanny (owner/designer at Kwesiya) by chance in Toronto's Kensington Market. Inquired about a head wrap for my wife and had trouble just buying one.  So many choices! If I had trouble picking one my better half has addressed that by becoming a repeat customer. In a short while; we've looked to Kwesiya for fashion pieces, gift ideas and home decor.Extremely happy to have found Kwesiya and highly recommend them for unique gift ideas and fashion offerings.
