Taboo Muskoka Resort & Golf

Stayed here for 3 nights a couple weeks ago. And had an incredible experience! The staff were friendly and the service was great. Rooms were so nice! We got the romance package, and had the most incredible view from our wrap around balcony. My ONLY complaint, is when laying by the pool there are signs saying no outside food or drink" but there were no servers taking any orders for drink or food while we lounged. What do they expect us to drink? Some service at the pool would of totally enhanced our experience. Also the same Playlist was on repeat the whole 3 days. They need to switch it up! But we enjoyed it and would definitely return!"

We had a great time at the resort. The service was awesome and the staff were very friendly.The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the beds were not in keeping with a resort of this caliber. They were very hard and not pillow tops as you would expect.Other then that we loved every thing else.

We had a corporate meeting at Taboo for a week. The meeting rooms were great, the staff were helpful and friendly and the location was absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend Taboo for team meetings.

Stayed here as our first family trip! Staff are all so lovely and truly appreciate your stay! Resort was well kept and the pools were all so AMAZING! The only thing is the restaurant can be a little pricy for dinner, however, breakfast was WELL worth it! Also, no campfire as it was put out after a group of teens decided to get rowdy! Otherwise, enjoy your summer stay!! 5 stars

Had the lakeview room on 4th floor and it was one of the best views and sunsets I have ever witnesses. Room was spacious and nice. There were small details that could be improved. I really didnt like being charged for the crib every night. Not a lot of food options either. Overall it was a really good experience and I would highly recommend this hotel.

My boyfriend & I were there for the first time this past weekend (Feb 24). We didn’t participate in the activities available but great to know they were offered free with our stay! Our room was a king room on the 4th floor with a lake view - SO big, beautiful, clean, and the ceilings were so high making it feel even bigger than it already was. We were upgraded from resort view to lake view, assuming it was because it was a slow weekend for them. We appreciated that! The bed was decently comfortable, pillows were great. Shower & tub were awesome and so clean. The resort was close enough to head into Gravenhurst or Bracebridge quickly for food/shopping. The staff was very kind and welcoming, although we didn’t need them much during our stay. We chose to stay at Taboo as a Christmas gift to each other and went skating at Arrowhead Provincial Park in Huntsville for the Fire & Ice trail on the Saturday. We would definitely go back in the winter! Summer stay is out of our price range for a weekend getaway but looks like a great time.

Food was fantastic and the staff were lovely. The grounds and rooms were clean and the whole experience was very relaxing.Looking forward to returning next year.

It’s a very nice resort but the grounds are not very well maintained. The footing going down to the pool is very uneven. The patio stones need to be releveled and there is a Step on the deck up to gazebos which has black tape and is a Trip hazard. Anyone like me a my friends who have mobility issues find it very unsteady. I think for the money the resort could be better.

We just stopped in for dinner. Delicious, fast, beautiful view. Outdoor patio. Highly recommend.Hats off to our waiter CONNOR !
