Greenwood Inn & Suites

Travelled for a wedding. The hotel was old but clean. Not a lot of vegan options on the restaurant menu. The vegan option at wedding reception hosted in the hotel was bland. A simple sauce would have made it much better.

Room was clean. Beds were not super comfy, kind of hard. Kids enjoyed the pool however it looked like it could use a good scrub around the water level where there was some residue. Staff was friendly.

The staff at this hotel was wonderful.The crown and moose was a great little restaurant for a bite to eat and drink.Great location with lots of parking!Where the hotel is lacking is its dated, and has a funky smell. There is no options to sign into netflex or to rent a movie when we wanted to spend the evening relaxing. Your stuck with basic SD cable.The pool wasn't the cleanest and the overall area needs a refresh.

Nice rooms and clean. In the central part off town, which means not alot of parking. The restaurant attached is very good and great service also

This was hands down the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The hotel staff at the front counter were extremely rude and very inconsiderate.

Just spend 4 days and 3 nights here for a hockey trip with our U13 team. The staff were ignorant and very unprofessional! We were cursed at and threatened to be thrown out to the streets. We were not allowed to socialize in our rooms without security banging on our doors. Lock down time for everyone in the hotel was 10pm. A couple of our parents stood in the hallway having a quiet conversation and were told to get back to their rooms by security!If you're a hockey manager/coach, I would suggest you NOT have your team stay here! They make it very clear that you are not welcome!!Very unfortunate considering we paid almost $8000 to stay here!Do better Greenwood Inn & Suites!

Traveled with my hockey team and stayed there for 3 days. Was treated horribly by front counter staff/security the entire weekend. Was not allowed out of your room past 10 without security harassing you to go back into your room. Then complained if you were having drinks in your room, the security threatened to kick us out if we did that. We tried to reach a compromise with staff in which we were verbally assaulted by the front counter staff. If you have to travel to the beautiful town of Corner Brook with a team do not waste your time going here. Harassed the entire weekend and was treated like dirt. Utterly disgusted by this establishment.

It's right downtown corner Brook in a nice location. Free parking on the lot, pool, laundry and a restaurant in the building.It does have an odd sink other side of the hall from the toilet and bathtub, apparently something they used to do years ago but otherwise nice room, clean and comfortable.The staff was great and really helpful and informative. I would definitely say it's a great place to go and they got lots of rooms.

The bed was comfortable, and a hot breakfast was included in the price of the room. The restaurant is 5 star and the staff was great.However we had a few issues that resulted in a lower rating. The floor in the bathroom was so cold we had to keep a towel down or wear shoes in there. This may be just the room we were in but it was like walking on ice in bare feet. The carpet near the window (about 5 or 6 feet out) was soaking wet from a recent rainstorm so we got our socks wet at first.All the pillows we had were small, very lumpy and spongy and very, very uncomfortable. These should have been dumped long ago or better yet they should have purchased better quality in the first place.We decided that it's our last stay at the Greenwood hotel but definitely not our last time visiting their restaurant at which we had several excellent meals.

The staff was great, bed was comfortable, good parking and location. The hotel however is a bit rundown and overpriced. Common areas were dirty, gym was outdated with minimal, broken equipment.
