It is indeed relieving to visit all kinds of purely rebuilt natural parks in and around the city, however this Chestermere Ab park alongside the lake is amazingly beautiful in captivating nature’s yarning from within the soul at first glance

I have played several ice hockey games here over the years. They do a good job of keeping the dressing rooms clean and the ice prepped before games. If only it was closer to Calgary...

The ramps are all broken up or door frames are sticking out, so no bueno for strollers with small wheels or wheelchairs. I can see a wheelchair getting stuck in the middle of the ramp easily. Could be potentially dangerous for someone. Went here for a market indoors, but it was pretty slow and there was only one food vendor so it was a little sad...... they were following health protocols.

Nice gateway for an evening. People camp, cook/ barbeque, play endlessly in the lake and ride kayak or own boat. Managed well, this lake offers play area for children with lot of sand. Not very deep till about 30 meters. Ample parking. Tim Horton and McDonald's nearby.
