Reaching Shaw Direct satellite TV customer service is a nightmare. Our new receiver did not display the channels we had paid for and each time we called Shaw Direct we were asked to go to the online chat feature to describe the issue or provide our cell phone to receive a SMS text. Both modes of communications gave us automated text for answers and after wasting a lot of time there was no resolution to the issue. Finally we tried to reach Shaw Direct the old fashioned way and booked an appointment for a technician to come over to our premises. Again it appears that there was a miscommunication between Shaw and the technicians and for nearly 4 weeks we had no resolution. Finally when we did get in touch with the customer service rep last week - she assured us that this time around the technician would be be booked for this week. Sure enough a technician by the name of Lucas showed up from MobilTec and fixed the problem in minutes. Lucas was very courteous, professional and competent. Thanks to him for addressing the problem finally.

we had a young east asian sales agent come to our home last month selling us shaw and xplornet internet. he tried to have us cancel our current account with shaw and xplornet then sign up as a new customer. we thought this was not right to do. he became pushy and rude. we called his manager adam that rude and pushy too. sorry it was a bad experience. i will not recommend this company.
