Rossland Lions Campground

We stayed two nights to do some mountain biking. The campground is clean and the other campers were quiet and respectful. I’d give five stars except that the location is right beside a major brake check point for big trucks, and there was considerable noise all through the night. Bring earplugs and you’ll be fine. We were in site 12 and it had shade through the whole day. So do sites 13 and 10. Site 11 has basically no shade most of the day.

Despite the Covid restrictions I'd have to say this is a 5 star plus campground. You feel like you are in the wilderness but the town of Rossland is a short drive/walk/bike ride away. I was super impressed with how well kept it is from grass and garden maintenance right down to the incredible organization for sorting recyclables in the recycling room. Firewood can be delivered to your site for a small fee. The layout is nice with paved pads for RVs and tent sites in the wooded area. The most impressive aspect of this campground is the communication with the caretaker, Kelsey. She makes herself available for questions or concerns and responds quickly by text or phone call. She is very friendly and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. I liked that it was not a huge campground and it was laid out so that you could meet your neighbours and interact yet still maintain complete privacy if that is what you want. We loved this campground and can't wait to come back next year!

Great base camp for your next mountain biking adventure. Not fancy, and a few of the sites don't have much privacy, but the staff were friendly, the showers and bathrooms were clean, the WIFI was free, and the price was right.

The camp ground attendant Kelsey was super nice and the volunteers that were working on adding services to the grounds were very friendly and are some hard working people. I stayed for 2 weeks, the washrooms are cleaned regularly and the 4 showers are all hot. WiFi included in the fair cost. Baseball field right beside grounds was nice to see a local game every 3 or 4 nights. I was impressed with how friendly the people of Rossland are and I will definitely be returning some day. Great spot close to a main intersection going 3 ways but the traffic is light and I didn't notice it at all, hardware store with some food supplies 2 min walk and downtown was only a 10 min walk with all amenities, great price, was a pleasure to stay.

This campground is small and far from manicured but our site was paved and level, the sites are separated from one other so you do have more privacy that you might find in a crowded RV park. The washrooms are clean and pleasant. A good RV park for the price that you pay we paid $30 for full service.

Amazing campground. Very clean, quiet and welcoming. No swimming hole however, but otherwise definately take some time to stay here.

Cute little campground a few minutes away from the main strip of Rossland. Our campsite was tucked in the trees and provided a lot of privacy. Some of the campsites are just in the middle in a field right next to neighbours with no privacy. However, most of the outer ones are tucked in trees and provide shade from the sun and privacy from neighbours.There are 4 single shower/bathroom rooms which were quite clean!Overall, great experience!

Great if you are with a large group, not very private if you want quite. Great access to mtbing

What this campground lacks for, it makes up for with showers, flush toilets and friendly campground attendants. I would give more stars except that my preference is for more woodsy campgrounds with lots of space between your and your neighbours. This campground offers a few sites like that but also a number of field sites. However, also close to town and easy access to biking!
