I find the salvation army store in Liverpool Nova Scotia I find they only want certain people in the store working as I volunteered in there 8 months and 9 days then I get a call Friday morning saying they don't need me in there anymore

I had to stay there for a couple days when I was stranded during a backpacking trip. Better than any shelter in Toronto, though I don't like the fact that I have to pay $4 for lunch if you're not staying long-term upstairs. I know the shelter has its financial needs, but so do the people staying there

Its a harm reduction shelter, so if you don't want drugs, alcohol or drama, don't go here, the front end staff get a gold star, as for the administration, let's just say I find great solace in knowing that one day they will answer to God.
