I contacted a few roofing contractors in search of a quote for my needed repair job, and Sum-it Roofing Inc. was the only company that responded in a timely manner. John from Sum-it returned my call, and what I appreciated was his timely response, his willingness to take my additional phone calls when I had questions, and his overall pleasant and professional manner. I also appreciated that while he followed up with me after providing the quote, he wasn't pushy at all. When he came to do the repair, I wasn't at home but he called to inform me that he was on his way. I loved that I was able to see the actual damage and his repair because he took before and after photos. The issue that led to me calling John was some missing shingles on the roof that was causing some leakage. We've had some precipitation since the repair, and there has been no leaking, so I have to say that I'm satisfied with the job. John also took the time to explain why I was experiencing leakage with a home that is less than 4 years old, and his experience of addressing similar issues with new homes. At some point I will have to do a more in-depth roof job as the home ages, and I will definitely call Sum-it Roofing again. When you find someone that does good work, they're worth hanging onto.

Prompt service to address leak resulting from recent high winds especially when others could not be bothered calling back. Roof replacement (10 years ago) has held up very well.

Some shingles in our roof blew away in a recent storm and I contacted John from Sum.it Roofing on a Sunday afternoon.John came to my place on Monday and patched all the missing shingles.He was professional, courteous and reasonable in his price.Would certainly recommend him.

My roof started leakingthe first rain fall after my entire roof was completely reroofed. He came with his team multiples times and the roof still leaking. The roof leaking in places that never leaked before John replaced the roof. John block me on watts app and stop responding to my emails. It winter rain in falling in my bed, closet living room. My mother was soaked drench when a paint bubble holding water leaking from the burst over Christmas. No remorse for hard working. I hope he see this review and do the right thing

We got our roofing done by John the owner. things where pretty decent until defects of his work started to show up. long story short he kept on referring to other things that are causing the roof to leak. we hired another company as per his suggestion to look after the other things (gutter). once they are replaced the same issue still accrued. when we called him back to talk about it he hanged up and immediately stopped responding to any of us (me and my brother) mind you this guy is a friend of our neighbor. and this is the way he treated us. imagen what he would do to you just finding him online. btw everything I mentioned was with in the warranty period. (I thought of leaving this here maybe someone will find it helpful)

We had a single piece of siding loose on the second storey level. John was down the street for another job and when we told him the situation he came, determined the fix, and completed the work for a reasonable price. Very courteous and professional. Would definitely consider for larger job in the future.

John and his partner did an amazing job. fixed my leaking flat roof and repaired my gutters. Excellent communication and honest work. I would 100% use Sum-it again for any roofing needs in the future.
