Today, June 16, 2021 we had a visit from a gent from ETICOM LTd. Our family had four windows replaced on September 9, 2020. We had requested we would like to have an Iron Ore colour of the windows showing to the street and white inside. When we opened our windows for the first time this season we saw that there was white and black showing to the street. So we called ETICOM Ltd and the rep explained it like this: This is Industry Standard and that when we opened and closed these type of slider windows the paint will peel off. Now to me as a consumer it was the worst explanation of why the windows were not painted to our request or order. He also said that he could not do anything about it. So I simply thanked him for his time. Therefore what I learn't from this company is their after sales service is extremely poor; so basically buyer beware. The first pick shows the slider window closed and the second when I slide open the inside of the second window has not been painted.I just got off the phone with Nordik Windows and they also offer Slider or Hung windows with colors. Guess what they explained; all the panes looking out to the street gets painted with the exterior color and it is not industry standard". Yes

At first, we a little apprehensive when the customer service clerk showed us tilt and turn patio doors when we visited the Eticom showroom. After a demonstration, we were sold. The tilt-in feature made it breath of fresh air that the doors provided gave the room a light and airy feeling to it. The inviting atmosphere in the dining room is fantastic. We’re glad we waited to buy the patio door from Eticom, and we feel we got our money’s worth and then some.

Our patio doors were not looking so great and starting to stick, making it hard to close. We visited the showroom at Eticom – they were recommended – and we were more than impressed by the inventory they had. We settled on a patio door that tilted in and turned that gave our patio a new look. Not to mention the doors are easy to operate and the color scheme matches our interior and exterior nicely. Our backyard neighbours wanted to use this company as well, the look of it is just so unique
