There's great food here. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed all of the dishes that we ordered. The service was fast and each dish was hot and fresh. We ate before the normal dinner hour and we were the only ones in the restaurant, so I'm not certain how well that carries over to peak time. Still, even in the off hour, in the time that we were there, we saw about 3 or 4 people come in to pick up take-out orders.None of the food was greasy, like is often the case in Asian restaurants, where you love the food when you eat it, but your stomach regrets it later. So we all had our fill and felt satiated but not sick afterwards. Portion sizes are also generous, so you'll have leftovers to enjoy the next day.If there's something specific you're looking for but isn't necessarily on the menu, ask, as they may be able to accommodate, as they did with us.Bathrooms were clean and there was lots of free parking at the rear. I'd recommend this restaurant and would return for another meal anytime.

Use to live nearby and ordered the crispy ginger beef all the time. I loved it. Nice and crispy as it should be. Moved because of personal circumstances and haven't been able to find one place that makes it crispy. It's always soggy. Today we had to drive through Burlington and made sure we stopped by and picked up 2 orders of it. Did not disappoint. Totally worth the drive ☺️

Pomelo Asian Cuisine
The only authentic Asian cuisine in the Burlington area. This is a family-owned restaurant serving a variety of Chinese and Hong Kong style dishes. Serving staff are very friendly and attentive. Food is delicious. My favourite sweet and sour pork in all of the GTA because it is still crunchy in addition to excellent flavour. No complaints!

We had this from a friends recommendation and was disappointed. Not sure if there was a mistake but our pad Thai was essentially plain tasteless noodles with no flavour or sauce and some sautéed vegetables. You struggle to find tofu in a vegetarian pad Thai and ate plain rice noodles wondering what you just paid for. Cashew chicken was great, basil chicken was good too. I hope the pad Thai was some sort of mistake because it was literally just the he worst I’ve ever tasted.

We are Chinese and regulars to Pomelo dining in 2-3x per month. The restaurant seems to grow in popularity from when we started coming two years ago and we are happy to see it to know they'll stay in business and we can continue to enjoy the best Chinese food in Burlington too. The Thai curries are damn good too. Service is always attentive and the staff are patient with my messy 2 and 3 year olds. The chef is a damn fine one and can really demonstrate his skill when you want to entertain VIP guests by ordering a few days ahead. We had lobster seven ways and beautiful steamed scallops on the half shell with garlic and Peking duck.

The green curry chicken I ordered had green food colouring which stained the chicken this odd green-blue tone... the flavours were good but the obviously artificial colours made it weird.The other dishes were fairly tasty, though I probably won't come back.

Mango salad is one of the best I’ve ever had!A huge portion as well. The Thai spicy tofu is delicious and they made the beef fried rice they made spicy for me! 10/10 recommend

The most authentic and delicious Chinese food restaurant in Burlington. Their Thai food offerings are very good, too. Crispy Ginger Beef is highly recommended.

I stumbled in here on one of the days I forgot my lunch. I peered over the menu and selected a veggie tofu dish. It was made promptly, and it came out bigger than I expected. It was a delicious meal that left me feeling completely satisfied. Great value for its price and well put together.
