The Davis program is incredible. It has been working for my daughter who is 10. Cala is an amazing facilitator, she is very approachable, caring, and professional. Her approach to the program combined with her understanding of the challenges her students face make her a brilliant choice as a facilitator. I was thrilled with the life-changing tools Cala taught my daughter to use in such a short period of time, these truly are a gift that will benefit her for the rest of her life. Étienne, 13 ans, participa à un stage Davis avec Cala au mois de janvier 2023 et ce fut pour lui une expérience des plus bénéfique et agréable. Dans un cadre convivial et serein, Clara su très rapidement mettre Étienne à l’aise avec cette expérience unique d’enseignement et de mentorat individuel s’étalant sur 5 jours et demi. Tout en enseignant la méthode Davis, Cala pris le temps de bien identifier les obstacles à la maîtrise de la lecture des mots et développa dès le départ de l’apprentissage une approche spécifique aux besoins d’Étienne. Attentive, bien organisé, patiente, à l’écoute, et persévérante, elle sue créer une ambiance décontracté, productive, motivante et stimulante tout au long du stage. Son expérience avec Cala augmenta son estime de lui, et l’aida à croire en ses capacités de réussir. Soulignons qu’à la fin de son stage, Étienne, réduisit de moitié le nombre d’erreurs de lecture et d’écriture. Très content d’avoir suivi le stage, Étienne s’est engagé à poursuivre à la maison la programmation des mots connecteurs et il le fait avec beaucoup d’intérêt, car, il en voit le bénéfice dans sa lecture. Terminons en soulignant le fait que Cala effectue régulièrement des offres de support didactique ainsi que des suivis d’avancement des apprentissages en cours à la maison. Nous nous considérons chanceux de l’avoir trouvé. Merci Cala !

I'm an adult with Dyslexia and ADHD and I can tell you from my experience that parts of life can be pretty challenging with hidden cognitive differences.Cala is a patient, attentive and adept guide who will show you the path to a better life and help you get a firm start on it. As a Davis program facilitator she is able to go beyond just teaching and actually help you see how you personally can turn your former challenges into gifts!I don't know if there are words to fully express how much the methods and tools she'll help you develop can benefit and empower you.I no longer feel like I'm disadvantaged. I now actually believe that my differences can be gifts if I practice and use what I've learned. That's the power of the Davis program.Thank you Cala!-Adam

My son is in grade 3. Having him diagnosed with dyslexia and then working with Cala came at exactly the right time for him. His self esteem had been sinking and he had been starting to give up on school and on himself. He learned skills while working with Cala that will help him as a learner in the future. But the most significant part was the understanding of his dyslexia, positivity, self esteem, and self worth he gained from working with Cala for only one week. He now sees himself as someone who can learn. Seeing him feeling good about himself has been really special and important for us. He says of himself that he is really proud of himself for completing the program. The concrete strategies he learned in the program also formed part of his IEP. My only complaint is that he was given a white Clarity Dyslexic Solutions" t-shirt at the end of the program. He is so proud of himself that he has worn it every day since his program (to play and to bed) and I can hardly get it off him to wash it."

Clarity-Dyslexia Solutions made an incredible difference for the students at our school in 2022. Our students are neuro-diverse and have challenges with focus, dyslexia, and executive functioning. Cala provided individualized assessments and programs for our students. In many cases, our students' reading levels jumped up a grade or more. The students who were reluctant to read and write developed more confidence and more willingness. Cala was incredibly kind and empathetic with students, yet she was firm about expectations. Her strategies and approach were exceptional!

My daughter really enjoyed this program, and the premise of the method makes perfect sense. We saw a full year jump in her reading level plus a whole lot of other unexpected improvements in cognition and confidence. I am sharing my experience with everyone I talk to that knows dyslexia.

We had tried other methods with no success. Then I found a book on the Davis method. I could not have done this without the online lessons and coaching! It was exactly what we needed. My daughter is a new person. Her reading, writing and spelling has improved exponentially. Not to mention her confidence level. This program is worth every single penny!

My 8 year old went through the program with Cala and we saw an immediate and dramatic improvement. She started the program in May, was re-evaluated in June and had improved by 2 reading levels! There is still quite a bit of work for us to work through at home but we know have a plan AND a foundation to work from. I highly recommend Cala (and the program). Cala is patient, caring and very personable.

What a wonderful program!! Cala has found her forte. My son and I definitely value Cala as a Davis program facilitator. She is professional and has thoroughly communicated with us prior to, throughout, and post program. Definitely worth the time invested , and more, for my 18 year old son who is diagnosed with dyslexia, ADHD, and Autism. He noticed improvement after the first day of working with Cala… For the first time, he was able to hear / attend to the conversation going on in the car while primarily attending to driving in busy Vancouver.While using humor and having a light & positive approach, Cala gave my son hope and many tools to use in reading, attending and everyday life. His reading level increased 3 grade levels within the 5 days she worked with him. Helping my son see his dyslexia as the gift it is, has given him the needed self esteem that was hindered throughout his school years. In areas that previously caused confusion, Cala enabled my son to excel. She expressed how continued work on his trigger words will equip him fully. He has a plan to follow through on this work.
