Le serveur ne m'a pas laissé entré la pourboire seul, il l'a fait pour moi! Je trouve ça impoli.The server suggested a 15% tip and then entered it for me! I find that very impolite. I was going to give at least 15% anyways, but that left a bad taste in my mouth.The food was good, but expensive.

fine dining restaurant!!! definitely doesnt mention in google or their website!!! Not sure if tourist come here cos at first staffs were taken aback cos we didnt speak french! But after a while’s wait we got a waitress who attended to us, she was very friendly, polite and understood what we wanted!! She provided good service… The Maple butter salmon was amazing, Chicken kebab was great, Mc and cheese was okay!. 5 star for the service.

We went as a group and reserved days before foe 6H pm. Well we were still there at 7H pm and just water had been served to us. We started to complain about the very slow on going service as he was only filling glasses of water and or alcohol. A bunch of people arrived after us and they got the menu and we didn’t. Talk about that. So we started to complain and asking to talk to the manager and it has been refused. Finally we got those menus. And after a while the food. Ordinary food. We finished and went out of this restaurant around 9,30- 10,00h pm. Very disappointed. And on top of this no vegan or vegetarian plate, except for fish or shrimps; which were again ordinary. We will never go back to this George steak house. Vey bad management. If you can’t serve people on time that they have reserved; don’t take that many people. Very very. Bad.

We love this place. We had two parties there. One for work and the other was threw work but for my husband. The food is always amazing. I had two different meals from my original one that I love. The drinks are good and the even have mocktails. It's kid friendly and meals for children. The staff was amazing as well, so polite and even tried to speak some English with us and our friends who were English. They did a great job.

We visited the restaurant and ordered steak and rosette . We also had cheese fondue and pogo . The pogo was not tasty the fondue was ok . The steak was good , the fries were not great the rosette was good . I wasn’t a fan of the sauce it had a strong kick of spice the salad was good . The prices are on the hight side .do I recommend? No not really. Would I go back

Had made reservations in March for a group of 20+ people for last Thursday. They called to confirm several times and we arrived exactly at 630. They showed us to a private room in the back that was a bit dated with a sticky banquet table and no table clothes.But the real shock came when the menus had NO STEAKS on them. We had specifically booked a steak house as we were finishing a bike ride around Lac St Jean (if you cycle do it). We were all a bit dumbfounded so a couple of people went to the Front. The manager in charge couldn’t have cared less … he said the menu had most of what they offered and when we pointed out there were no steaks he kind of shrugged and said more or less that is that. Another employee offered the Manhattan steak as an option which was nice.HOWEVER WE BOOKED A STEAK HIUSE BECAUSE WE WANTED STEAK!!!!The food wasn’t bad overall and the service was good. Don’t worry we all tipped well as it wasn’t the staffs fault. MANAGEMENT IS CLEARLY INCOMPETENT! This place has apparently been around for years and many of us were looking forward to eating here, but now it’s just a sad joke!

Restaurant Chez Georges
We checked into our hotel across the street where they recommended Georges. It was Labour Day weekend and at 7:00pm we weren't sure of a seat but after a very short wait they sat us in a nice curved booth. Our waiter was very good, brought us English menus took our orders and had a good sense of humour. The food was some of the best of our 18 day trip and we would definitely return if we were in the area again.
