I am a very happy customer, from the initial evaluation to my surgery and followup. Fraser Valley Cataract and Laser has been phenomenal beyond expectation. Every level of the company has the same loyalty to the customer and beyond. I have already recommended them to many of my friends and associates. The outcome of my cataract and lens surgery was so enlightening for me as I have heard of the results being surprising but I feel well beyond that. I lived over many years with growing loss of closeup and distance vision and felt I was still fine bur seeing what I see now and the colors amazed me. Whites are white and objects are clear and sharp. I use one phrase with my family, it is when I saw the pine trees before on my drives back to the Okanagan I saw the pine trees now I see the pine needles. I highly recommend coming to this office. All of the medical office assistant were so amazing and so attentive. Probably one of the best customer service I’ve ever had. Dr.Chiam had answered all my questions and was very efficient. Once again thank you to all the MOA’s for making my experience at this clinic 20/20.

I would highly recommend this clinic. From the time you enter the office it is welcoming, warm, and efficient. The best experience was with Dr. Chu.He is very professional, compassionate, and leaves you feeling at ease.Will happily recommend Dr. Chu to family, friends, and anyone with a cataract issue. Walked in blind and left with a smile and sight.Just to add an update: After leaving my review and suggesting the office take e-transfer i was contacted and thanked for the feedback and one week later I was contacted to be told that they will accept e-transfer upon request. Do NOT go to this place for eye floater Yag laser treatment. He js not experienced at all. First session told me 500$ for one treatment is all i need. Then it changed to 1500$ ler eye. First session no improvement and i can understand that. Second treatment he did not listen at all where as u told him there are only two floaters to concentrate on which are giants. I was reluctant to draw them as per his request. Logic being they are hard to draw, yet obvious to find. After treatment he brought up request to draw them which upset me. He seemed rush and never even made the effort to find the ones that bothered me.So later on I realized this treatment did nothing. Dr. james Johnson a world renowned expert from Dallas, Texas called me and basically said what I suspected. Doctors like Payne deal with 50 clients a day and rarely do this laser fpr floaters, so are inexperienced. Dr. Johnson mentioned usually he fires 1000 to 1200 clicks, Payne did around just 200. Dr. Johnson also said since Payne was not listening to me any future visits are pointless. And Dr. Johnson said that he fully talks to his clients and makes sure he targets the bothersome cloudy floaters. Scariest part was he refused to and said NOTHING about my side effects of seeing squiggly lines after first treatment and having a green Iris shaped aura since when i close my eye.So i am going to concentrate on a Montreal clinic where i should of gone in first place as Dr. Pop there has amazing reviews. I cant even find reviews from anyone on floater laser session here. And I STRONGLY suggest for anyone to see the YOUTUBE videos on Vitreolysis laser for floaters. Yiu will see Doctors like Dr.Johnson do session and fire lasers at floaters and actually talk to their clients. Do the procedure as it should be.

Had cataract surgery and vision correction in September 2022. Dr. King and the robot performed the surgery. It was worth every penny spent. From careful diagnostics and measurements to determine if my eyes were suitable for lens replacement, through surgery, to aftercare I highly recommend Fraser Valley Cataract. All staff are highly professional and capable. The surgery itself only takes a few minutes. I was a bit anxious for the first time (not able to take anti-anxiety meds) and being fully awake and aware for the procedure, but once I knew what to expect for the second eye it was a breeze. It’s been 10 months now and I couldn’t be happier. I only have one pair of readers for close-up reading (I used to have 8 – one for every possible distance), can drive again at night without starbursts and halos even in the rain, and best of all no more contact lenses! I’m free to swim, dive, surf, enjoy general physical activity without having to worry about problems contact lens wear can have, especially when in the water. Would do it again, without hesitation, if I had to.

My grandma came for cataract surgery and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The consultation was very thorough. She is very impressed with her new vision and how smooth the process was!

If you are looking for excellence, you'll find it here. The doctors are wonderful. Special shout out to Dr. King for his kind, gentle approach and mad skills! Add an exceptional staff, bright, clean, friendly office, and easy parking and you've got it all. I've had a lifetime of vision related challenges and have seen too many doctors at too many clinics. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

My experience with Fraser Cataract & Laser exceeded my expectations. From the initial visit, to the consults, the lens replacement surgery to the follow up visits everyone treated me professionally and with care. I’ve had poor vision all of my life and now after the surgery my vision is at its best without the need for glasses. The surgical procedure was quick and pain free and I’ve had no issues or discomfort since it was done. Thank you to all of the staff!

I brought my wife in for her appointment here and we were so very pleased with how kind and friendly everyone was. The MOAs were so nice and explained how the process of the appointment would go. The testing technicians explained how every machine worked so there were no surprises. The doctor we saw was so thorough and explained everything so that we understood what our next steps would be. We highly recommend this clinic to our friends and family should they need specialty eye care!

My experiences at Fraser Valley Cataract and Laser Clinic have all been excellent. Over the past few years I have seen a number of different doctors for various issues with my eyes, including excess skin removal on my upper eyelids and monitoring my eye health for eye pressure and dryness. The reception is friendly and the technicians are helpful - they along with the doctor eased my anxiety for my eye surgery and my eye issues. Thank you to them for making me see better after the excess eyelid skin surgery and figuring out solutions for my sore and dry eyes! Thank you all, you’re awesome!!!!
