On January 3rd 2018 we had an awesome days fishing with Justin on his boat TailSpin. His knowledge of the local waters, boat safety and environmental awareness is outstanding. I will definitely book a charter with him when the halibut season opens up and would recommend anybody wanting a quality West Coast fishing charter to give him a call.

Spent an amazing day fishing with Justin. Would highly recommend to all our friends and family and are already looking into booking with him again. He told us lots of cool stories and let our 7 and 8 year olds feed the seals with scraps and hold the fish we caught for pictures.

We had the pleasure of booking a salmon charter with Justin on July 14th from 1-5PM for four people. Justin came highly recommended and he exceeded our expectations as a guide. We had an incredible day of catching salmon and delicious dungeness crab. He taught us a lot about the fundamentals of fishing and how to navigate the waters, while also having a fun time soaking up the sun! We highly recommend Justin (Tailspin) for your west coat fishing excursion - 5 star experience and will be booking round two! Thanks again!

Spent the day with Justin fishing, wildlife watching (whales were active), and talking. While he is a great guide, it was more like a day on the boat with family. I have been out with people who just drive the boat, you drop a line and do not engage you. Justin is easily the best I have been out with and we are already looking planning our next trip!

Justin took us out this weekend as we celebrated my dad's birthday. This was a very easy 5 star experience! Justin knows his stuff and makes it a great experience, he is very happy to share his knowledge and acts fast when the rods tweaks but also makes sure they are always in the water. We went specifically for salmon and had quite a bit of action, unfortunately we caught a lot of wild salmon that we were unable to keep at the time.We really had a great time moving back and forth between the dock and cabin, as it was chilly on the water even though it was very warm on land (particularly chilly for the guys in shorts). Justin was there first thing in the morning for our 5:30 am start.We took a couple of great fish home which Justin happily cleaned, probably in a 10th of the time it would have taken any of us.If you are looking for a charter, book Justin you won't regret it!

Where to begin... Justin at Tailspin Charters is simply the best. From the very beginning, his positive attitude and outgoing personality made us stoked to be there, even at 6:30 am.When choosing a career people say to pick something you are passionate about and love. Well, Justin nailed it.He is so incredibly knowledgeable and lights up when explaining every detail of fishing, making it so engaging and easy to pick up.We not only caught fish, but we learned how to set up the down riggers, read a boating navigation system, learned the best depths to be trolling at depending on the dept of the area you're cruising through and how to process and filet your catch. We learned so much that we can't possibly fit it all into a review. If you're looking to book an experience of a lifetime and be on a boat for multiple hours with a complete stranger, book this trip. You will leave with a friend, knowledge, and hopefully a few fish like we did.- Rhea and Alex

Justin is a super professional and outgoing guy, he made sure to keep us positive the entire trip. Although, we did not catch any fish that was worth keeping, we still had a great experience! Throughout the entire trip Justin made sure to stay optimistic (or fishamistic" as he likes to say)

Justin is an amazing skipper and an incredible fishermen. What a great fishing experience!We ventured out on a cold foggy morning in August. The boat is equipped with radar, which made it a breeze to avoid other boats, ensuring a safe trip out to sea. Justin took us through all the safety protocols, setting our mind at ease with our kids onboard.Justin's knowledge of the best fishing spot paid off, we caught some incredible Chinook Salmon!Back on shore, Justin cleaned and filleted the fish for us.I can't thank Justin enough, he is a really nice guy, who does not rush to meet the fishing time allocated. We couldn't be happier with the outcome of our trip.

Great trip with an awesome guide... can't wait to go again! Justin was very committed to tracking down the fish and helped each of us in our group as little or as much as we each wanted. It being my first trip, he helped hook the fish and walked me through it as I reeled them in. Best part was going home with a couple beautiful cohos. Highly recommend TailSpin Charters to anybody!
