Oosterhof Electric is a first rate company! I have dealt with Gary numerous times over the years and now, most recently with Len who came out to provide a quote to install electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) and other electrical work. The quote was fair and reasonable for the required work and we are very happy with their service. Master electrician John and his assistant Nathan showed up on time, they were professional, polite and explained everything they were doing. They were in and out before I knew it and they cleaned up after themselves.Need electrical service - I highly recommend Len and his team at Oosterhof Electric.

We booked Oosterhof to do a panel upgrade from 100 to 200amps. Other companies wouldn’t even come out to the house to see what needed to be done but rather just quoted delays, etc. oosterhof didn’t hesitate, came out, got us a quote and even connected with hydro on our behalf to request what they would need. Beyond happy with the service we received and prices seem fair. We have them booked in again to run electrical to our garage now

Over the past seven years since we moved to the Kingston area Oosterhof’s has been our go-to business whenever we needed electrical work done whether it was as a result of a power surge during an electric storm that knocked out much of our electricity capabilities, the installation and maintenance of a Köhler generator, installation of surge protectors, upgrading of wiring to our septic system or the installation of kitchen ceiling lights and the addition of additional outlets. They have always responded promptly and presented themselves in a courteous, professional, and knowledgeable manner. We have also always appreciated their willingness to explain clearly what needs to be done and why. We find them to be reasonably priced, competent, professional and respectful of our home and feel confident in recommending them to anyone requiring the service of electricians. To begin with, all the individuals I dealt with were great at a personal level and easy to work with.The installation of the project (a whole home 2o KW Generator) was completed professionally. I would recommend Oosterhof Electric without hesitation.Adam at the office is a real asset to the company. He responds promptly to any and all questions and follows up on issues in a timely manner. I must admit that my decision on choosing Oosterhof Electrical and the Kohler Generator after my own investigation and research was largely because of Adam and his ability to clearly communicate the details about all aspects of the project (product, pricing, timing, installation, arranging with the utilities etc. etc.)Michael did the electrical side of the project /installation. What stood out about him was the way he went about doing his job. Step by step in a steady unhurried manner. Checking everything as he went along and meticulously completing each step. I really appreciated his explanation and manner of explanation about any questions I had. I also admired his mentoring style to the junior apprentices who were working with him. It gave me great confidence in the work Michael did. Michael is really great, and I was happy he worked on the project.The natural gas side of the project was done by Jason of DLJ. Jason looks like he is laid back, but trust me when it comes to natural gas stuff, he is a consummate professional. Knows his stuff inside and out. The work done is absolutely neat and no cutting corners. I really was impressed with the way he went about doing everything. Jason's associate is a no nonsense get the work done kind of guy and is fortunate to have Jason as his mentor and manager. I did not have much interaction with him, but whenever I did, he was very helpful. Jason is a really super guy like Michael.As a client it was also great to see the shared camaraderie between Michael and Jason and respect for each other's work. Great teamwork.Overall, I am very happy with the work done. The project was completed on October 25th, 2022. There are a few minor issues not related to the installation which are outstanding (paperwork). I am confident that Adam will resolve them in his usual quiet professional manner.Thank you, Adam, Michael, Jason and of course Wendy at the office.

I've used Oosterhof for both my home and my business and they've been excellent to work with. Unlike their competitors I find their communication is always timely and any circumstances that come up are worked through. They show up on time and the jobs have been completed on budget.

We had a electrical issue on A weekend.. We called the phone number and left a message. They immediately got back to us and met us in less than an hour. The Gentleman that came to our property was upbeat, friendly and professional. The issue was located and corrected within the hour! Excellent to work with and very knowledgeable.
