ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!!!! I’m writing this review for my parents. Air Advantage was contacted for service to my parents house. Miss dig was called and everything was marked. My mom physically showed the technician where the septic tank was. The technician assured her that they would hand dig that area. The installation crew showed up without notice and used the trencher in that area. Their trencher broke the septic tank! Now they’re denying responsibility and refusing to pay to have it replaced. When my mother asked what process she was able to do to rectify the situation, the representative stated “well, you could sue us“. For a company that advertises hometown pride they certainly don’t seem to care about the residence. Now instead of a seamless process, my parents will be out thousands of dollars to get this situation fixed.

This company is not worth one star I am forced to give. Air Advantage bought out our internet company (where we had perfect service) and just obliterated the quality. It started with us not being able to get internet at certain times of the day, to now its going on 2+ weeks with no service. I have been pushed around non-stop with no straight answer, and when asking for a credit get the run-around. Air Advantage you should be absolutely ashamed at how you treat your customers and the quality of product you provide. If you are thinking of using this company run fast.

The people in the Frankenmuth office are super nice and try so very hard to help. They are not the problem!! The problem is Thumb Electric who niw owns Air Advantage. They know about the problems, have known for well over a year, and refuse to do ANYTHING to remedy them. They are putting all of their focus into creating a fiber optic network!! Towers are archaic and they have no intention of working in them. They will, however, continue to take our money! If we had other options, we would have been gone about 2 years ago. I even filed a complaint with the Michigan Attorney General - of course, government is not much better than this company’s Internet service! Horrible when it works but mostly, we don’t have Internet and have to use data on iur cell phones!!!

Horrible company. The service is incredibly slow, and as such was getting a discounted price which almost made it worth while, but then they stopped giving the discount, and are continuing to charge when we no longer want nor use their service! Even the BBB can't get a hold of the new owners" so you know something shady is going on now.. If you have them cancel your service immediately and get a hotspot from t-mobile as it's cheaper

It was average at best until it switched to Thumb Electric. They surprised everyone with taking away ALL discounts. Which were the ONLY reason any of us kept it. It goes out at least once a day, if not days at a time. Worst service we have ever had. Literally we are all better off with the archaic DIAl UP! Oh the best part is when you call or email they ignore you. Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy, Definition of a bad joke. Avoid at ALL costs. Oh and here is the BEST part, if you have them and want to cancel they avoid you to just keep getting money from you. Anywhere else is better!!!!!!

Would give a zero if I could. Service has been getting worse over the last year or so. Now it's to the point it literally takes 25 minutes to watch a 4 minute YouTube video-if the internet works at all. The business is closed on weekends so I get to go three days with little to no service. Don't give these people your money unless you have to

Air Advantage was a good provider until they decided not to maintain their equipment but continue to charge patrons for slow and intermittent service. They acknowledged that the problem was their tower equipment and had no plans for repairing or upgrading. Furthermore, they are fully aware of the situation ( this is affecting Northern St. Clair county) and have never reached out to the customer base in this area to provide information about the situation or plans to remedy it. Also, I was asked to stop calling technical support as it costs them a little bit of money" each time I did

Gave a poor review a couple weeks ago after being frustrated with tech support and 3 days of going back and forth with them and getting no results. But to my surprise Brandon reached out to my husband and I, he was able to find and fix the problem. They also helped my elderly neighbor by coming to her home to fix her concerns. Great job and thank you for the personal service that makes it great living in a small town!!!

We’ve had Air Advantage’s internet service since January, or should I say the lack of service. We signed up for 20 MB originally and we’re only able to get maybe half of that speed. Air Advantage, credited our account and told us that they needed to upgrade the equipment. After months of poor speeds they upgraded the antenna and the speed of service was the 20 MB we wanted from the start. Now, a week after the upgraded equipment the signal is back to what it was prior and it’s actually worst. My wife had been working from home and was forced to miss two days of work due to their network issues. I’ve called tech support ( which is a joke) wait for a call back and after waiting 2 hours received a call back only to be placed on hold for an hour. I requested another call back and they decide 2:53am is a good time to call back to try to figure out the internet issue. Of course, I wasn’t able to answer this call because I was sleeping, so I called back this morning and requested anther call back. I can’t wait to see what happens next. On Air Advantage’s website is says “24/7 technical support”, but that must not include times when people are actually able to answer the phone to get the support they need.The fact that I paid a $100 a month for 20MB is a joke ( paid only one month a $100, due to poor service they credited my account and only charged me $68.00). I would advise anyone that needs a reliable internet service to stay away from Air Advantage.Disappointed and disgusted,Unsatisfied Customer

My parents upgraded and it was good for a week now the net is worse than before somedays or I should say most days the net is pretty much nonexistent. They told us they'd have someone come out and look at our receiver box and its been two weeks and nothing and net is still garbage. Absolutely garbage and garbage service that doesn't know how to take care of their customers.
