Horror Escape

I tried out two rooms so far and had a good time! Employee Mo was super amazing, and a great story teller. They definitely made the experience more fun! :)

Very disappointed in this escape room. We did the Wishmaster and had solved every puzzle…. Problem is a lot wasn’t working properly and needs to be repaired. We spent a lot of time trying to solve puzzles that were broken. Definitely should not be charging people full price for a broken room.Maybe best to close this one until it works properly again.Sincerely,Very frustrated puzzle solver

Motel 66 was scary at times but awkward at others. I wish we had a heads up that the intro video didn’t automatically start like at most escape rooms so some time was wasted there. For some reason you only get 45 minutes to complete the room which may have just been an excuse to create a smaller room but i didn’t like that. The staff was great. The hint tablet gives away the names of the next hint options which can spoil some parts of the game. It was fine for $25 CAD each and i would give it a try to kill some time while exploring Victoria.

I was really happy with my visit. The room was tough. We barely made it out. But the setup was good and the puzzles felt interesting and fair.The one staff member we saw was amazing. She was great about checking on rooms and making sure people were having a good time.

All though the staff was very nice. My experience was disappointing. First off the rooms are really dark, so much so I could barely see own hands, as well as that it is very expensive plus the amount of time they give you is to short.

We had a relatively good time. The story and room interactions were well thought out and original however there should have been a notepad or white board for us to use as there was a section where we had to memorize 6 numbers from a long newletter and this part took us 10 minutes in itself as we kept forgetting the order of the numbers and had to re read it. This was insanely frustrating especially as our time ran out once we finally finished it. We knew what the answer was to the puzzle just did not complete it in a timely fashion. Also some holes didnt line up for things that needed to be hung so if you didnt have two people at least it would not be possible and made us think we were doing it wrong ehich isnt true. Overall the creativity of the room and story was great but the having to memorize things in your head or do math in your head without the option to write it down wasnt a necessary challenge and really just annoyed us. If we had 60minutes we probably could have completed the room but when we told the girl at the desk our frustrations she stated a lot of people complain about having to memorize things. If that part changes Id probably go agsin otherwise it doesnt seem worth the revist.Very original and creative though, decently priced.

Great atmosphere! A group of us did Motel 66, didn't survive but had an amazing time! Our hostess Bonnie was great and added to the whole adventure! Will definitely be back to try more rooms.

My partner and I have done 2 of the 3 escape rooms offered here (House of Occult and Wishmaster). Both were quite challenging and the ambience / decor of all the rooms was extremely well done.A couple of the mechanisms for some of the puzzles definitely had some wear-and-tear and could use some fixing up (mostly in the Wishmaster room) and even though we were warned of this in advance, with a shorter time frame than most escape rooms we've done (45 minutes vs. 60) having to run out and check with staff to see if we've done it right does break the immersion a bit and uses up valuable time.Nonetheless, the staff are amazing, we had a ton of fun, and we can't wait to go back to finish off the last room!Also, for those who are on the fence because they don't like horror, I'd say still give it a shot. There are some jump-scares, but they are minimal. Most of the horror comes from general creepy ambience throughout the rooms / storylines.

I’ve done more than 30 escape rooms and this was the worst one I’ve ever done.We waited for 5 mins in the lobby for another group to ask questions, then for the worker to help a group in the other room, they told us they had to start the time as we arrived late (we were still early)Then inside, the puzzles and locks were illegible because they were overly worn out and not maintained, with one puzzle being broken.I was interested in letting the worker at the front know that some of the puzzles were worn and broken, and the response was rude and dismissive. Would not return.

Love this place for a 2nd time but please add abit more light to house of occult. It wasn't making it more challenging or mysterious but actually less fun. Couldn't group round or pass things around cause it's just too dark. Like 10% more light would just make is better
