Kokanee Creek Provincial Park Campsite
Great park! Could certainly use an expansion of stalls that have power for those that want / need it! Half the power stalls don't even have a fire pit ... it wouldn't take much effort to expand power into other areas of the park and I'm sure the cost of doing so would be recoup'd in a single season! Unfortunately for us, we didn't reserve in advance so we had to move to different sites 3 days in a row.

The woods are dark but beautiful. The creek runs through it along with a salmon run. The beach is fantastic and they’re a lagoon for kids.

What an amazing camp ground, very beautiful place. Nicely spaced camp sites. A fantastic park and beaches for kids to play. I will be planning to coming back here again!!

The park as a whole is absolutely fabulous to visit and the two employees that were there were so helpful with information and just taking with us.

Great park staff, secluded sights with privacy but also great for large groups. Hot showers and clean bathrooms and lots of activities around if you enjoy hiking, fishing, or beach days. Would very highly recommend. Worth the $32 a night

Spaces are small for $32 a night ,Despite saying they are dog friendly they definitely are not . The dog side of the beach isn’t a beach it’s surrounded by trees and not maintained at all compared to the regular side, it’s super swampy and gross compared to the regular beach and is about a few metres surrounded by trees and the water is dirty with TONS of mosquitoes. We tried to go to the other side since we saw someone else with a dog over there and within minutes we were told to move. The camping areas have no privacy and they patrol past you and slow down and make you feel watched especially if you have dogs they kinda end up monitoring you. We kept our dogs on leash the entire time and they still would do like a slow drive by to look in on us at our site to make sure. For $32 a night the spots are tiny and the staff running the area definitely makes u feel like they are just waiting to spot you doing anything they can reprimand and it feels so monitored and less like a nice private camping experience. We booked this site specifically for the beach and got here only to find out the dog side was basically non existent and it’s heavily enforced. So the dogs can omit swim between this small wooded area that was dirty. Definitely disappointed in the entire experience cause our dogs were very limited and we felt like there was a lack of privacy to enjoy our camping area with the amount of staff that do drive bys all day long.2/10 lol. Too bad cause the beach would have been great to enjoy but we couldn’t enjoy it without leaving our dogs in the trailer which we didn’t do.So if you have dogs definitely don’t recommend this place . It’s not fun feeling like you have to police them while you’re supposed to be enjoying camping especially at $32 a night … Not coming back.
