A stunning trail into the narrows. Took about an hour to hike in. The trail was relatively flat and is great for all fitness levels. Lots of rocks and roots along the way to trip over if you’re not careful. The sound of the rapids is *chefs kiss* - I could listen to it all day. Overall, a wonderful hike that will make you so happy to be out in nature.

Easy 3.5 km hike to the ebb tide whirlpools, approx 4 km to the high tide rapids. Because of the time of day we experienced the whirlpools. Positively mesmerizing!

It's a beautiful park in Canada to hike. Easy to moderate trail. The only disadvantage for some is you have to park and walk on a gravel road to get to the trail head. It's worth it.Plan ahead when tide exchange happens and watch the water level rise and rapids get bigger.

A really terrific hike through the woods leading to the Skookumchuck rapids. Fine for fit seniors, patient children, and leashed dogs. Most of the hike is flat, until you get closer to the rapids, then some narrow uphill / downhill areas with stones and roots. Be sure to wear proper hiking or walking shoes. The view at Skookumchuck Narrows is beautiful and well worth the 4km hike into the brush. Brings lots of water to stay hydrated, especially on hot days. If you are visiting the Sunshine Coast, this is a must see attraction!

This place is beautiful. It transports you to a peaceful oasis. You can feel one with nature while walking on the trees. We occasionally saw some other people walking but for such a beautiful place it was very quiet and serene. We didn't know there is good times and bad times to go if your wanting to see the skokumchuk show but we loved the trip anyways and will be back. Next time with a better plan to see the actual event.

Amazing place!!! Bit of a long walk, but worth it. (4k in) gentle terrain for walking through a beautiful forest.

Starting from the parking lot, it takes about an hour to get to the scenic rapid / whirlpool. The trail is mainly flat until the incline & decline near the end. A must see on the Sunshine Coast but a long 1.5hr+ drive from Langdale ferry terminal or from Earls Cove terminal, much shorter drive. Serenity now.

A great way to spend an afternoonm. A short 45 minute hike in will lead you to the perfect backdrop for a post card. There is a amazing little bakery at the start of the trail which is highly recommended. The trail is very well kept and suitable for all ages.

After an approximate 1 hour moderate hike to the entrance of the inlet, we were rewarded with spectacular views of the tides and the whirlpools. Furthermore we got an awesome front seat where we watched the kayakers ride the tide. Also, check when the tides are at their peaks as that is when it is best time to view them.
