They keep changing my trash day. It was supposed to be picked up yesterday, needless to say they didn't. They told me I have to wait until next week. . What am I supposed to do now with two weeks of trash already. I pay 19. dollars every two weeks and I wished they would do what they are supposed to do. Dorothia Childs

Friendly service

Called ahead to get a price to dispose of a hot water heater and several bags of fallen leaves. Quoted $8 a tank and leaves by weight. Sent my father down while I was at work. The guy had him throw it all in demo and charged him $75. I don't know if I should be more angry with the dump or dad, but at least dad was just following orders.

Scales are open to non houlton residents wendsdays noon to 3 pm very cost effective easy in and out cash and checks only

Far too expensive!

We have used Casella for trash removal for 7 months without a hitch. Then one day our trash was left in the bin at the end of our driveway on a scheduled pick up day. I called Casella customer service and spoke with Mia Fleming. I explained my issue and she told me the reason the trash wasn’t picked up is because there wasn’t any trash in the bin. I assured her there was and she said, “I’m looking at your bin and it’s empty”. She said the driver of the trash truck took a photo, which she sent me in email, showing there was nothing in it. The photo was a side view of the bin from across the driveway. Mia practically kept insisting that I’m lying and she can see there’s nothing in the bin. I sent her a video as I walked from where the driver took the photo up to the bin showing the trash in the bin. Her last response was “I can’t help you because I can see there’s nothing in there”.I’ve heard stories of poor (or none at all) customer service response but this takes the cake. So basically Casella’s customer representative aggressively called me a liar and left it at that ! Unreal!!

They wont tell me how much it will cost to bring weighed trash. Weve talked with 4 different people on the main phone line who cant reach the office to get a price. I keep getting told i need to drive there, but its not around the corner and gas is expensive. Going just for a price almost an hour round trip seems ridiculous.!!They are also only open 3 days a week and accept only cash .also the employees are no where behind the glass when I try to find them.After reading previous reviews it makes me wonder how they are operating with treating people this way. I just want to get rid of trash should i really have to go through this because I don't want to rent a dumpster ?

It was my first time and they were very helpful and didn't make me feel stupid, even though I did anyway. Next time I'll know!

Always friendly, clean facility.

The woman in the window was incredibly rude when I asked how much they charged because they only accepted cash and I only had $80 on me. So I ran out to an atm and got back only to have them close 10 minutes early. Very unprofessional.
