Playful Paws Doggy Daycare & Training Facility

Our time with Playful Paws has been amazing from the get-go. I spoke with a staff member on the phone about our dog’s needs and when I dropped him off for his first day weeks later (due to our schedule, not theirs) the lovely person at the front desk remembered his case and speaking to me. Our dog has been timid and scared in every other day care we have tried, and does not typically adjust to other people easily. He enters Playful Paws with his tail wagging, ears forward, and running to greet the staff. They accept him for who he is and provide ample feedback when we request it. We have shed many tears thinking about how Cricket has a second home where he is clearly loved. We are so grateful!!

This doggy day care is awesome. My dog is always excited to go - she recognizes the location as soon as we pull up. And it's very obvious that the staff REALLY REALLY care about the dogs. I don't think I'd take my dog anywhere else.

Can't say enough good about this place! We started with puppy classes and never left. The staff are phenomenal and treat our pup like he was their own. It's become his 2nd family. Thanks to everyone including Katie Trish and Jordan

Playful paws is amazing. It is clear that all the staff absolutely loves their job. They are wonderful with my girl, she always loves going. You can leave your pup at playful paws, knowing they are going to get the best care. They also teach classes at the facility which is just as great as the day care.

Wonderful local business. The set up is so much more fun for dogs than the other local daycares. They've got dirt and trees instead of the typical fake grass, and lots of things to play on. Ayla had a blast on her birthday and we'll be using them again!

I was worried sick about leaving my dog at a daycare but desperately wanted her to get to socialize with other dogs. The second I walked in the door it was immediately apparent that the Playful Paws staff are incredibly caring and highly skilled at what they do. The whole operation is seamless!! I am in awe. Thank you for taking such good care of my sweet girl.

Amazing staff and play area for the pups. I take my girl roughly once a week and she could not be more excited. Great hours and flexibility with same-day bookings if something comes up last minute.

Highly recommend!! We had a great experience during a recent visit to Halifax. I was looking for daycare for my dog for a couple of days during my trip and the staff were extremely helpful and communicative with helping me set that up. The facility is great, my dog had a fantastic time, and it was an all around great experience!

We have tried other doggy daycares over the last few years and this one, by far, stands out from the others in the following categories: cleanliness, professionalism, and how much staff love the dogs they are caring for.
