Really should have read the majority of reviews for this place before going. Not greeted in the store, and felt like a total outsider. Vinyl was insanely expensive ($50+ for a square meter of generic brown vinyl), good thing it happened to be on sale though there were no signs indicating it. Staff was unhelpful and seemed to be bothered when I asked for help and at checkout. One isle was covered in rolls of fabric that were taken out and just tossed around. I had to move dozens of rolls around to get to others. When I went to get the fabric cut the lady took 10 minutes to write up a bill of sale and kept walking away. Just a bizarre atmosphere. I found similar fabric online at the same size for under $10. That’s where I‘ll be shopping from now on and I suggest others do the same. Not worth the headache.

Terrible customer service. It is my first time going there to get a fabric as recommended by someone i know and won't ever go back here. One of the lady who cuts the fabric is very unprofessional, extremely rude and arrogant!, Beware of her!. It seems to be her habit to treat their customers that way. She even dared to roll her eyes in front of me and make faces after i call her out on her attitude. She just wanted me to put the roll of fabric on her side and gave me very unacceptable demeanor and talk to me rudely. Terrible behavior of someone who works and deals with people everyday. I reported it to the person in charge. But definitely nothing will happen

Very bad experience, poor customer service and staff has poor knowledge. I do not recommend my friends to go to this location.

Took my kids down to Fabric land on St James to find some fur. After finding what we needed, we went over to the cutting table. And the lady that cut our material was so nice, and very professional. We had a great conversation going, and I had a great time being there. Her Initials are LH.The store is large, with a very nice selection. Found everything i was looking for and more. We had a great time going there. I would definitely go back again.

The service was very good, no problem with that. I found it a little pricey with two 2 metre pieces of high density foam which totalled over $500.

Sent my partner who knows nothing about fabric to pick up a piece for me as I needed it urgently but couldn't make it before close (I included a description but forgot to specify length), and she got cussed out by the staff for not knowing exactly what she needed. I regret sending her for the experience she had, though frankly it was of no surprise to me as every time I go to this Fabricland, I get terrible service. Staff are rude, you often are waiting forever for someone to cut fabric for you, and half the time you get an eyeroll if you ask to be helped. I wish I could give it 0 stars, and after this most recent terrible experience will not be returning. I miss Mitchell Fabrics. :( It really takes a lot for me to leave a bad review but this was shameful.

It’s always clean and the staff are always super helpful and go out of their way to make sure you’re getting what you need. I appreciate the selection and central location of the store. I always come out with more than I intended to when I first go in haha
